Who owns Moon Bingo?
Moon Bingo belongs to the Broadway Gaming group and is operated for UK players by Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited. The company's Gambling Commission register entry (opens in a new tab) is account 58267, and it gives a head office in Dublin. That company is the one you contract with when you open an account, and the one responsible for your balance, your data and any complaint.
Broadway Gaming is a specialist in online bingo brands. Rather than one big site, it runs a portfolio of smaller bingo-led sites, each with its own look and community. Moon Bingo is one of them.
We have no commercial relationship with Moon Bingo. This profile is factual: we don't rate the site, link to it or describe its welcome offer.
Moon Bingo licence details
When we checked on 20 October 2026, account 58267 showed two active remote licences and a clean record:
Holding a casino licence alongside the bingo one is normal for bingo brands, because almost all of them offer slots and instant games next to their bingo rooms. It means those slots must follow the UK online slot rules: a £5 maximum stake per spin for adults aged 25 and over, £2 for 18–24s, no autoplay and at least 2.5 seconds between spins.
A company based outside the UK can hold a Commission licence; there's no requirement to be incorporated in Britain, but the licensee must follow British rules for every British customer. Our explainer on the remote casino licence covers what it requires.
Moon Bingo sister sites and Broadway's two UK licences
Broadway Gaming holds two separate UK accounts. Moon Bingo is on the Irish company's licence; another group of brands sits on Broadway Gaming Limited's account 39075. Knowing which is which helps if you have accounts on more than one site.

Brands on the same account share one licence holder, so bonus eligibility, verification and operator-level self-exclusion may link across them. Brands on the other account belong to the same group but a different legal entity, which can make a difference to how the terms treat you. Our guide to casino sister sites explains the patterns, and multiple casino accounts covers what the rules usually allow.
Moon Bingo history and the 2022 bingo deals
The current licence dates from February 2022, but that is when Broadway's Irish company took on its remote licences, not necessarily when Moon Bingo first opened. Bingo brands change hands quite often as groups buy and sell portfolios.
One deal from that period gets mentioned a lot: 888 sold its mostly UK-based online bingo business to Broadway Gaming for $45.25 million, with completion reported on 7 July 2022. The trade report on the sale didn't list the individual brands, so we haven't confirmed whether Moon Bingo was part of it. We mention it because it shaped Broadway's portfolio, not as a claim about this brand's past.

What changed recently for Moon Bingo players
The most noticeable recent changes on bingo sites come from the 2026 bonus rules. Bingo bonuses used to carry wagering requirements as high as many casino offers. Since 19 January 2026, no incentive can require more than 10 times play-through of the bonus.
Worked example. Suppose a bingo site gives a £10 bingo bonus. Under the 10x cap, you can be asked to buy at most £100 of bingo tickets before bonus winnings become withdrawable. At 10p a ticket, that's up to 1,000 tickets. Under the old rules a 40x requirement would have meant £400 of tickets for the same bonus. The 10x wagering cap page and our wagering calculator let you run other numbers.
The other big change is the mixed-product ban. A promotion can no longer say “buy bingo tickets and get slot spins”, because bingo and casino count as different products. Expect bingo offers and slots offers to appear as separate deals. Our bingo bonus guide explains what's left.
How to check Moon Bingo is properly licensed
Find the licence statement in Moon Bingo's footer and write down the company name and account number.
Go to the Gambling Commission public register and search for 58267.
Confirm the name is Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited and the status is Active.

Glance at the regulatory actions tab and keep a note of what it shows and when.
Safer gambling on Moon Bingo and similar sites
Bingo feels social and low-stakes, which is part of its appeal, but small tickets add up across a long evening. UK licensees must offer deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion; since 31 October 2025 you're asked to set a financial limit before your first deposit. Our deposit limit rules page explains what the operator must offer and how quickly changes apply.
To block every GB-licensed site in one go, register with GAMSTOP (opens in a new tab). For a confidential conversation, the National Gambling Helpline is on 0808 8020 133 (free, 24/7, run by GamCare). More options are in our free gambling support guide.
Complaints about Moon Bingo

The operator has eight weeks to resolve it; after that it must refer you to an approved ADR provider, free of charge. Keep game IDs and times for any bingo game you're disputing. Our guide on how to complain about a casino applies equally to bingo sites.

Frequently asked questions
Who owns Moon Bingo?
Moon Bingo is part of the Broadway Gaming group and is operated in the UK by Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited, Gambling Commission account 58267, with a head office in Dublin. That company holds the licence, sets the terms and is responsible for player funds and complaints. Broadway also runs brands such as Wink Bingo and Costa Bingo on the same licence, and a further set, including Rosy Bingo, on a second UK account. You can confirm the details using our guide on how to check a casino licence or browse other owners in our brands A–Z.
Is Moon Bingo safe and licensed?
Yes, it holds a UK Gambling Commission licence. When we checked on 20 October 2026, Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited's account showed remote bingo and casino licences active since 23 February 2022, with no regulatory actions listed. A UK licence means age checks, safer gambling tools, GAMSTOP participation, fair terms and access to independent dispute resolution. It doesn't guarantee a good experience or that you'll win. Our article are online casinos safe in the UK explains the protections in more detail, and what UKGC licensed means covers the licence itself.
What are Moon Bingo's sister sites?
The brands sharing Moon Bingo's licence are Wink Bingo, City Bingo, Costa Bingo, Robin Hood Bingo, Lucky Charm Bingo, XL Casino and Rise Casino, all run by Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited. Broadway Gaming also runs Bingo Diamond, Rosy Bingo and Butlers Bingo through a separate company, Broadway Gaming Limited (account 39075). Sister sites usually share the same company processes for verification and complaints, but their lobbies and promotions differ. See our Wink Bingo profile and the wider guide to casino sister sites for more.
Was Moon Bingo owned by 888?
We haven't been able to confirm that. Broadway Gaming bought 888's mostly UK-based online bingo business for $45.25 million, with completion reported on 7 July 2022, but the trade report on the deal didn't name the brands involved. What we can confirm is that Moon Bingo's current licence holder is Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited and that its licences have been active since 23 February 2022. For 888's current casino brand, see our 888casino profile, and for how brand sales affect accounts, read when a casino closes.
Do UK slot stake limits apply at Moon Bingo?
Yes, to the slot games on the site. Because Moon Bingo's operator holds a remote casino licence, every reel-based slot it offers must cap stakes at £5 per spin for players aged 25 and over (since 9 April 2025) and £2 per spin for players aged 18–24 (since 21 May 2025). Bingo tickets aren't affected. Slots must also run at no faster than one spin every 2.5 seconds, with no autoplay. Our pages on the £5 slot stake limit and the spin speed limit explain how these rules work.
How does the 10x wagering cap affect bingo bonuses?
Since 19 January 2026, no bonus at a UK-licensed site, bingo included, can require more than 10 times its value in play before winnings can be withdrawn. A £5 bingo bonus can therefore need at most £50 of tickets; a £20 bonus, at most £200. Some bingo bonuses have no wagering at all, which is still allowed. The cap doesn't limit expiry dates or maximum wins, so read those terms too. Our 10x wagering cap explainer and the guide on how wagering requirements work give more worked examples.
How do I close or self-exclude my Moon Bingo account?
Use the account's responsible gambling settings or contact customer support to close the account or take a break. A self-exclusion with the operator may cover its sister brands too, since they share a licence holder; ask support to confirm. For a block across every GB-licensed gambling website and app, register with GAMSTOP, choosing six months, one year or five years. GAMSTOP exclusions can't be lifted early. Our guides on how to close a casino account and how to self-exclude set out each option and how long it takes.
Where do I complain if Moon Bingo won't resolve an issue?
First complain to Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited using the process in Moon Bingo's terms. If it's still unresolved after eight weeks, the operator must refer you to an independent alternative dispute resolution provider, which is free for players. The provider's name should appear in the terms or the operator's final response. The Gambling Commission doesn't rule on individual complaints but does take reports of rule breaches. Our complaints and ADR page lists how the process works, and what to do if a casino won't pay covers withdrawal disputes.
Why isn't Moon Bingo one of your partner sites?
Latest Casinos partners with five UKGC-licensed casinos: Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO, Casumo and 10bet. Moon Bingo isn't one of them, so we publish a neutral profile showing who runs it, its licence and how to check it, without a rating or offer details. We show offers only where we can check and date them. Our advertiser disclosure explains the commercial side, and the latest casino offers page lists the five partner offers with the date they were last checked.
