Wink Bingo at a glance: who runs the site
Wink Bingo is a bingo-led site with slots and casino games alongside. The company behind it is Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited, part of the Broadway Gaming group, with a head office in Dublin. The Gambling Commission’s register entry for Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited (opens in a new tab) shows account 58267, with remote bingo and remote casino licences both active since 23 February 2022.
That company is your contracting party. It holds your deposits, runs your identity checks and handles any complaint, whatever the Wink Bingo branding on screen. Our licence holder glossary entry explains the distinction, and the UK casino brands A–Z lists the other Broadway Gaming names.
The February 2022 date is when this particular company’s licences began. It doesn’t necessarily tell you how old the Wink Bingo brand is, because brands can move between licence holders over time. If a site you’ve used for years now shows a newer licence date, a change of operator is the usual explanation; our guide on rebranded casinos explains what happens to accounts when that occurs.
Eight brands on one licence, Moon Bingo among them, makes this a sizeable network. The practical effects: a restriction or self-exclusion at one brand may apply at all of them, and new-customer offers may exclude anyone who already holds an account elsewhere on the network. Read our casino sister sites guide before opening a second account, and see can you have two accounts at the same casino for the rules on duplicates.
Broadway Gaming and the 2022 bingo deal
Broadway Gaming expanded in 2022. Trade press reported that 888 sold its mostly UK-based online bingo business to Broadway Gaming, through its subsidiary Saphalata Holdings, for $45.25m, with completion reported on 7 July 2022. The report we checked didn’t name the brands involved, so we haven’t confirmed whether Wink Bingo was part of that sale.
What the register does confirm is that Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited has held the licence for Wink Bingo’s domain since at least the dates shown, and that the account had no regulatory actions listed when we checked. For a wider view of how bingo brands have changed hands, see our guide to new casino brands from big groups.
How UK rules apply to Wink Bingo games

The mixed-product ban, in force since 19 January 2026, matters most for bingo networks. Before then, a common offer was “buy bingo tickets, get slot spins”. That’s no longer allowed. Our bingo bonus guide explains what bingo promotions look like now, and the 90-ball bingo page covers the most popular UK format.
A worked example: a bingo bonus under the 10x cap
Suppose a bingo site offers a £10 bingo bonus with wagering. Under the cap that began on 19 January 2026, the most it can ask is 10x, so £100 of bingo tickets before the bonus converts. If tickets cost 10p, that’s 1,000 tickets. Before 2026, bingo bonuses often carried higher multiples, which meant far more play to release the same £10.
The cap limits the amount you must play, not the cost. Every game still has a built-in margin, so the expected value of a bonus is lower than its face value. Our wagering calculator lets you test any offer, and how wagering requirements work explains the maths.

Safer gambling tools at Wink Bingo
As a licensee, Broadway Gaming must offer Wink Bingo players deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion, and must take part in GAMSTOP. Since 31 October 2025, it must also prompt you to set a financial limit before your first deposit. We haven’t reviewed the account menus, so check its responsible gambling pages for the exact options, and ask whether a self-exclusion covers all eight brands on the licence.
Bingo sessions can run long, especially with chat games and scheduled jackpots. Our gambling budget guide suggests a simple weekly plan. For free support, the National Gambling Helpline is open 24/7 on 0808 8020 133 through GamCare (opens in a new tab), and our signs of problem gambling guide explains what to look out for.
Deposits, withdrawals and ID checks at a bingo site
We don’t hold verified details of Wink Bingo’s payment methods, minimum deposit or payout times, so check its cashier. UK rules set the baseline: no credit cards (since 14 April 2020), no reverse withdrawals (since 31 October 2021), and no confiscation of funds for missing a verification deadline. A light public-record financial vulnerability check runs once net deposits pass £150 in 30 days. Our casino verification documents guide explains what you may be asked for.
UK-licensed alternatives to Wink Bingo
We don’t list Wink Bingo offers because we only promote offers we’ve checked and dated. None of our partners is a bingo-first site, so the closest options are casino offers. Coral gives new players 100 spins worth 10p each when they deposit and bet £10 on slots; spins must be accepted within 48 hours and used within 7 days, winnings carry no wagering, and some payment methods, including PayPal and prepaid cards, don’t qualify.
PlayOJO offers new UK customers outside Northern Ireland 80 spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p each with a first deposit of £10 or more, and spin winnings are paid in cash. Casumo adds a 50% bonus up to £100 to a first deposit of £20 or more, wagered 10x within 7 days with a £5 maximum bet. 18+, terms apply. Our PlayOJO review covers its terms and licence.
Wink Bingo isn’t one of our partners, so we don’t display its promotions. Below are three UK-licensed casinos with offers we check and date, most recently on 5 October 2026. 18+, terms apply.

Frequently asked questions
Who owns Wink Bingo?
Wink Bingo is operated by Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited, part of the Broadway Gaming group, with a head office in Dublin. It holds Gambling Commission account 58267. The register names the licence holder rather than shareholders, so that company is the reliable answer to who runs the site and is responsible for your account. Our operator glossary entry explains how licence holders and groups relate to each other.
Is Wink Bingo licensed in the UK?
Yes. Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited holds remote bingo and remote casino licences from the Gambling Commission, both active since 23 February 2022, under account 58267. That means Wink Bingo must follow UK rules on age checks, bonus wagering, safer gambling tools and, for its slots, the stake caps and spin speed rules. Our guide to checking a casino licence shows how to confirm this on the register.
What are Wink Bingo’s sister sites?
Seven other brands share Wink Bingo’s licence: Moon Bingo, City Bingo, Costa Bingo, Robin Hood Bingo, Lucky Charm Bingo, XL Casino and Rise Casino. All are run by Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited. That usually means shared terms and complaints processes, and possibly shared decisions on restrictions or self-exclusion. A welcome offer may also be limited to people new to the whole network. Our Moon Bingo profile covers one of the sister brands.
Was Wink Bingo part of 888’s bingo sale?
We haven’t been able to confirm that. Trade press reported that 888 sold its mostly UK-based bingo business to Broadway Gaming, via its subsidiary Saphalata Holdings, for $45.25m, completing on 7 July 2022. The report we checked didn’t list the brands involved. What the register shows is that Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited now holds the licence for Wink Bingo. Our rebranded casinos guide explains how brand transfers between operators work.
Has Wink Bingo been fined?
No regulatory actions were listed against Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited when we checked the register on 20 October 2026. That means no published fines, warnings or extra licence conditions on the account at that date. Because the register can change, it’s worth looking at the regulatory actions tab yourself before you sign up. Our page on Gambling Commission fines explains what each kind of action means for players.
Where is Wink Bingo based?
Wink Bingo’s licence holder has its head office in Dublin, Ireland. To serve customers in Great Britain, it still needs a Gambling Commission licence and must meet every UK condition, so being based in Ireland doesn’t change your rights as a British player. Customers in Northern Ireland should check the terms, because Northern Ireland is outside the Gambling Act 2005. Our Northern Ireland gambling law page explains the position.
Do slot stake limits apply at Wink Bingo?
They apply to the online slots at Wink Bingo, but not to bingo tickets. Since 9 April 2025, slot spins are capped at £5 for players aged 25 and over, and since 21 May 2025 at £2 for those aged 18 to 24. Bingo games follow other rules, including the 10x wagering cap on bonuses and the ban on promotions mixing bingo with slots. Our £5 slot stake limit page explains how the cap works.
Is Wink Bingo safe?
Wink Bingo trades under an active Gambling Commission licence with no regulatory actions listed when we checked, which are the two main markers of a trustworthy UK site. The licence requires fair games, identity checks, safer gambling tools and access to independent dispute resolution. That doesn’t make bingo a way to make money; every game has a built-in margin. Our page on whether online casinos are safe in the UK lists the checks to make.
How do I complain about Wink Bingo?
Contact Wink Bingo’s customer service first and follow the complaints procedure in its terms; Broadway Gaming handles it as licence holder. If you’re unhappy with the final response, or eight weeks pass without one, refer the dispute to the ADR provider named in the terms. ADR is free and independent. Keep screenshots, dates and transaction details. Our casino complaints guide explains each step.
Can I self-exclude from Wink Bingo and all its sister sites?
GAMSTOP is the surest way: it blocks Wink Bingo, every Broadway Gaming brand and all other GB-licensed online gambling for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years, and can’t be cancelled early. Self-excluding directly with Wink Bingo may also cover its sister sites, but confirm that with the operator. Our how to use GAMSTOP guide walks through registration and what to expect afterwards.
Gambling can be addictive. Free, confidential help is available 24 hours a day from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. Get free support from GamCare or NHS gambling support, or block yourself from all UK-licensed gambling sites with GAMSTOP.
