Paddy Power's UK register accounts explained
Large betting groups often split their licences across several companies. Searching the register for PPB returns more than one account, which can be confusing. These are the PPB accounts on record:

Paddy Power owner Flutter and its sister brands
Paddy Power merged with Betfair in 2016 to form Paddy Power Betfair, which renamed itself Flutter Entertainment in 2019. Flutter has since added Sky Betting & Gaming and PokerStars to its stable. Those brands are sisters in the group sense, but most sit on different licence-holding companies, so check each one's register entry separately.

The December 2025 Paddy Power settlement
On 17 December 2025 the Gambling Commission announced that Paddy Power Betfair would pay £2 million (opens in a new tab) as part of a settlement over customer-interaction failures. Four companies were named: PPB Entertainment Limited, PPB Counterparty Services Limited, Betfair Casino Limited and TSE Malta LP. The brands involved were Paddy Power and Betfair.
The Commission found that the operator's systems weren't sensitive enough to harm indicators. Its examples included a customer who deposited £12,000 over 15 days before a review, one who deposited £25,000 in 25 days before any interaction, one who lost £12,300 in five weeks before being contacted, and a session of 7 hours 46 minutes with more than 300 bets totalling £20,000 that was flagged only after a loss trigger.
In plain terms, the rules expect an operator to notice rising spend or very long sessions early and to step in, not wait for a fixed loss figure. The settlement reflects the systems at that time. Our pages on customer interaction rules and Gambling Commission fines explain how these cases work.
Paddy Power casino inside a betting account: the 2026 rules
When one account holds both your bets and your casino play, a few rules shape how promotions and marketing reach you:
No cross-product offers since 19 January 2026. A promotion can't require a sports bet to unlock casino spins or the reverse. See the mixed-product promotions ban.
Separate marketing consent since 1 May 2025. You can say yes to betting emails and no to casino messages, channel by channel. Our marketing consent rules page explains how.
10x wagering cap. A £10 casino bonus can need no more than £100 of casino play.
Slot stake limits. £5 per spin for adults 25 and over, £2 for 18–24s, on every slot in the games and casino sections.
Worked example. Say you placed a £10 bet and, separately, received a £10 casino bonus with 10x wagering. The bet does nothing towards the bonus. You'd need £100 of eligible casino stakes, for instance 200 spins at 50p, before bonus winnings could be withdrawn. Our how to calculate wagering guide shows the method.
How to check Paddy Power's casino licence
Open the casino or games section and scroll to the footer for the licence statement.
Search the Commission's public register for account 39426.
Check the name reads PPB Entertainment Limited and the status is Active.
Confirm remote casino and bingo are among the listed activities.
Read the regulatory actions tab for the 2025 settlement and any other entries.
Note the date you checked.
Safer gambling and complaints at Paddy Power
PPB Entertainment must offer deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion, and take part in GAMSTOP (opens in a new tab). Limits usually apply to the whole account, so a deposit limit set for betting also restricts what you can move into the casino; confirm in the account's safer gambling settings. For confidential support, call the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, free and open 24/7.
Complaints go to Paddy Power first, through its published process. If it isn't resolved within eight weeks, the operator must refer you to an approved ADR provider at no cost to you. Our complaints guide explains what to include.
How Paddy Power compares as a type of site
Paddy Power is a betting-first brand with a casino attached, owned by a very large group. Compared with a casino-first brand:
Advantages
Long UK licensing history for casino and bingo, since November 2014
Betting, casino, bingo and poker in one account
Public enforcement record that's easy to read in full
Drawbacks
Several PPB companies on the register, which can confuse anyone checking
Casino promotions now separate from betting promotions
Two settlements on record (2018 and December 2025)

Frequently asked questions
Who owns Paddy Power casino?
Paddy Power is owned by Flutter Entertainment, and its casino and bingo products are licensed in Great Britain to PPB Entertainment Limited, Gambling Commission account 39426, with a head office in St Julian’s, Malta. Paddy Power was founded in Ireland in 1988, merged with Betfair in 2016, and the combined company became Flutter in 2019. Flutter also owns Sky Betting & Gaming and PokerStars. Our Betfair casino profile covers the closest sister brand, and the brands A–Z lists other operators.
Is Paddy Power casino licensed in the UK?
Yes. PPB Entertainment Limited's account 39426 was active on the Gambling Commission register when we checked on 20 October 2026, with remote casino and bingo licences dating from November 2014. That licence means Paddy Power must verify your age before play, offer safer gambling tools, take part in GAMSTOP and follow UK rules on fair terms and complaints. It's not a quality rating. See our pages on what UKGC licensed means and how to check a casino licence.
Why did Paddy Power pay £2 million in 2025?
The Gambling Commission announced on 17 December 2025 that Paddy Power Betfair would pay £2 million in a settlement over customer-interaction failures. Its systems weren't sensitive enough to signs of harm: one customer deposited £12,000 in 15 days before a review, and another lost £12,300 in five weeks before being contacted. PPB Entertainment, PPB Counterparty Services, Betfair Casino Limited and TSE Malta LP were named. Our customer interaction rules page explains what operators must do, and Gambling Commission fines lists other cases.
Are Paddy Power and Betfair the same company?
They're in the same group but use different licence-holding companies. Paddy Power and Betfair merged in 2016, and the group is now called Flutter Entertainment. Paddy Power's casino is licensed to PPB Entertainment Limited (account 39426), while Betfair's casino has its own company, Betfair Casino Limited, which was also named in the December 2025 settlement. Each brand keeps its own account, terms and promotions. Our Betfair casino profile and the casino sister sites guide explain the relationship.
Can a Paddy Power bet unlock casino spins?
Not any more. Since 19 January 2026 UK-licensed operators can't run promotions that mix gambling products, so a sports bet can't earn casino spins and casino play can't earn a free bet. Each offer must stay within one product, and any wagering requirement is capped at 10 times the bonus. Older adverts or affiliate pages that describe bet-and-spin deals are out of date. Read the mixed-product promotions ban for the rule and how to spot an outdated offer to judge what you see online.
Why are there several PPB companies on the register?
Large groups often split different activities between companies. The register shows PPB Entertainment Limited (39426), which holds Paddy Power's casino and bingo licence, plus related accounts PPB Counterparty Services Limited (39439), PPB Games (39411) and PPB GE (52819). For casino play, 39426 is the one that matters. If something in a footer doesn't match, check the register directly rather than relying on a search result. Our guide on reading the footer and the operator glossary entry explain how to tell them apart.
Do Paddy Power deposit limits cover the casino and sportsbook?
Deposit limits are normally set at account level, so one limit covers money going into the shared balance, whichever product you then use. Since 31 October 2025, UK operators must prompt you to set a financial limit before your first deposit, and any reduction takes effect immediately. Check the safer gambling section of your account to confirm how Paddy Power applies it. Our guide on how to set deposit limits helps you choose a figure, and deposit limit rules explains what operators must offer.
How do I complain to Paddy Power?
Use Paddy Power's published complaints procedure first and keep a record of dates, amounts and what was said. The operator has eight weeks to resolve your complaint. If it can't, it must refer you to an independent alternative dispute resolution provider, which is free for customers. The Gambling Commission doesn't decide individual cases but uses complaints to spot rule breaches. The complaints and ADR explainer and our guide on what to do if a casino won't pay take you through each step.
Why doesn't Latest Casinos review Paddy Power?
We review only the five licensed casinos we partner with: Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO, Casumo and 10bet. Paddy Power isn't one of them, so we publish a neutral factual profile showing who runs it, its licences, its record and how to check it, with no score or welcome-offer details. Offers we can't check and date aren't described anywhere on the site. Our advertiser disclosure explains how we're funded, and the Coral review covers the partner closest in style.
