Mobile casino bonus guide

A mobile casino bonus is any casino offer you claim and use on a phone or tablet, either in an app or on the mobile website. At our five partners the welcome offers are the same on mobile as elsewhere, with no separate app-only deal in the terms checked on 5 October 2026; what changes on a phone is how you pay, claim and keep track.

Key takeaways

  • None of our partners' welcome offers is limited to the app in the terms we checked on 5 October 2026.
  • All five partners have iOS and Android apps; Coral, Ladbrokes and PlayOJO publish casino-only apps.
  • Paying with an excluded method on your phone, such as PayPal at Coral or Ladbrokes, can cost you the bonus.
  • UK rules apply equally on mobile: no autoplay, £5 or £2 slot stake limits and 10x maximum wagering.

What a mobile casino bonus actually means

Search for a mobile casino bonus and you will find two different ideas mixed together. The first is an offer reserved for people who play on a phone, typically for downloading an app or making a first deposit through it. The second is simply a normal casino bonus claimed on a mobile device. At UK-licensed casinos today the second is far more common.

Most British casinos run a single welcome offer across desktop, mobile website and app, because the account, the cashier and the terms are shared. A few brands have experimented with app-download rewards, and some send personalised offers through in-app inboxes. Whatever the channel, the rules are the same: the bonus is for adults aged 18 and over, it needs verification first, and since 19 January 2026 any wagering is capped at 10x.

For a broader look at playing on a phone, see our mobile casino guide and our answer to whether you can play casino games on your phone.

Are there app-only casino bonuses in the UK?

Not at our partners. We checked the welcome terms of Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO, Casumo and 10bet on 5 October 2026, and none restricts its main offer to the app or offers an extra reward just for downloading it. You can claim each one on the mobile website, in the app or on a computer.

App-only offers do exist elsewhere, but treat them with the same care as any bonus. A reward for installing an app is still a promotion with terms, and it must still respect the 10x wagering cap and the single-product rule. It also needs the casino to verify you before any play, so an "instant" app bonus will still wait for your identity check. If an app-download offer comes from a brand you have not heard of, confirm its licence before installing anything; our new mobile casinos guide lists what to check.

Only download casino apps from the official App Store or Google Play listing, or from a link on the casino's own website. Sideloaded apps can carry malware and may not be the licensed product.

Partner casino apps for claiming a mobile bonus

All five partners have iOS and Android apps. The table summarises their App Store listings for Great Britain, checked on 20 October 2026. We have deliberately left out star ratings, which change daily.

Android versions are on Google Play for all five, rated PEGI 18; Google Play did not show a minimum Android version for any of them. If your iPhone runs an older iOS than the app needs, the mobile website offers the same account and the same welcome offer. Our app guides cover each in more depth: Coral app, Ladbrokes app and PlayOJO app.

How to claim a mobile casino bonus step by step

Claiming on a phone follows the same order as on a computer, but small screens make it easier to skip the terms or tap the wrong payment option. Take it slowly.

  1. Install the casino's official app, or open its mobile website in your browser.
  2. Open the welcome offer page and read the full terms, scrolling to the payment exclusions and time limits.
  3. Register with details that match your ID; verification runs before you can deposit or play.
  4. Make your marketing choices and set a deposit limit when the app prompts you before the first deposit.
  5. Choose a qualifying payment method. On Coral and Ladbrokes avoid PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafe and prepaid cards.
  6. Complete the qualifying action, such as a £10 slots stake at Coral or Ladbrokes or a £10 first deposit through PlayOJO's offer link.
  7. Accept the spins in the app's offers or rewards area within the time limit, and note when they expire.

If spins do not show up, close and reopen the app before contacting support, and check you used a qualifying payment method. The common hiccups are covered in our guide to claiming free spins.

Mobile payment methods and bonus eligibility

Phones make it easy to pay with a wallet app in one tap, which is exactly why the payment exclusions in bonus terms matter more on mobile. Here is what our partner facts and offer terms say about the most common phone-friendly methods.

"Not on the exclusion list" is based on the summary terms we hold; always confirm in the full terms before depositing. For more on wallet apps, see our pages on Apple Pay at casinos and Google Pay at casinos, and the Apple Pay casino bonus guide. Remember that credit cards cannot be used to gamble in Great Britain, even through a wallet app; that rule has applied since 14 April 2020.

Mobile bonus maths: daily spins and claim windows

Phones suit offers that arrive in daily batches, because you can claim from anywhere. They also make it easy to forget. Two examples show what is at stake.

Ladbrokes: 50 spins a day for 10 days

Each daily batch is 50 spins at 10p, which is £5 of spins, up to £50 across 10 days. The terms say each day's spins must be claimed before 23:59 and then last 7 days. Read the full terms for exactly what happens to a day you do not claim; in practice, a missed claim is likely to mean that £5 batch is gone. There is no wagering on the winnings.

Coral: 100 spins with a 48-hour window

At 10p each, Coral's batch of 100 adds up to £10 of spins. They must be accepted within 48 hours and used within 7 days. If you claim on a Friday evening and forget until the next weekend, part of the window has gone. Setting a phone reminder for the expiry date is simple and avoids that. See our free spins expiry guide for how expiry works.

UK rules that apply to mobile casino bonuses

A phone is not a loophole. Every rule that governs a UK casino on a computer applies in its app and on its mobile site.

  • 10x wagering cap since 19 January 2026, under the Commission's new promotion rules (opens in a new tab); see our 10x cap page.
  • Single-product offers since the same date: an app that combines sportsbook and casino, such as Casumo's or 10bet's, cannot run one promotion that mixes the two.
  • Slot stake limits of £5 a spin (25 and over, since 9 April 2025) and £2 (18 to 24, since 21 May 2025).
  • No autoplay, turbo or slam stop, and at least 2.5 seconds per slot spin, since 31 October 2021; see the autoplay ban.
  • Financial limit prompt before your first deposit, since 31 October 2025.
  • Marketing consent per product and per channel (email, SMS, phone), since 1 May 2025.

If an app seems to offer something these rules forbid, such as an autoplay button on a slot, that is a reason to question whether you are using a licensed product.

Texts, emails and in-app offers on your phone

Many mobile casino bonuses for existing customers arrive as texts, emails or in-app messages. Since 1 May 2025 a UK casino must ask you to opt in separately for each product (casino, betting, bingo) and each channel (email, SMS, phone), with opt-out as the default. The full rule is LCCP code 5.1.12 on direct marketing preferences (opens in a new tab).

App push notifications are usually controlled in your phone's settings as well as in the casino app. If you want to stop promotional messages, change both. Our guide to opting out of casino marketing explains how.

Be wary of texts claiming you have a mobile bonus waiting. Fake messages that copy casino branding are a common way to steal logins. Open the app directly instead of tapping a link.

Keeping a mobile casino account secure

A phone holds your casino login, your payment apps and your email, so a lost or shared device is a real risk. A few habits protect both your balance and any bonus you are working through.

  1. Use a strong, unique password and turn on two-step verification if the casino offers it.
  2. Use the phone's screen lock; Casumo's iOS listing mentions Face ID and Touch ID login, while the other partner listings do not mention biometric login.
  3. Do not let anyone else use your account or your payment methods; it breaks the terms and can void winnings.
  4. Check each app's privacy label: Coral's iOS listing, for example, shows coarse location data linked to you, and PlayOJO's listing says the app may use your location even when it is not open.
  5. Log out on shared devices and remove saved cards you no longer use.

More tips are in our casino account security guide.

App or mobile site: which is better for bonuses?

For claiming a mobile casino bonus, the app and the mobile website usually give the same result. The difference is convenience and control.

Advantages

  • Apps keep you logged in and show offers in a dedicated area
  • Wallet payments such as Apple Pay are quick to use
  • Reminders help you claim daily spins before the deadline
  • Same welcome offers as the website at our partners

Drawbacks

  • Notifications can nudge you to play more often
  • Apps need recent operating systems (iOS 18 for Coral and Ladbrokes)
  • Small screens make it easy to skip important terms
  • One-tap deposits can make spending feel less real

Frequently asked questions

Do UK casinos give extra bonuses for using their app?

Not at our partners. The welcome terms of Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO, Casumo and 10bet checked on 5 October 2026 do not offer an extra reward for downloading the app, and none limits its main offer to the app. Some other casinos have run app-only promotions, which must still follow the 10x wagering cap and the single-product rule. You can claim our partners' welcome offers on the mobile site, in the app or on a computer. Our latest welcome offers page lists each one. 18+, terms apply.

Can I claim a casino welcome bonus on my phone?

Yes. All five partners let you register, verify, deposit and claim the welcome offer on a phone, either in the app or through the mobile website. Read the terms before you deposit, because the payment exclusions apply on mobile too: Coral and Ladbrokes, for example, exclude PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafe and prepaid card deposits from their offers. Set a deposit limit when prompted and accept your spins in the offers area. Our sign-up guide walks through registration on any device.

Does Apple Pay qualify for casino bonuses?

It depends on the casino's terms. Coral and Ladbrokes list Apple Pay as a deposit method, and Apple Pay does not appear on the exclusion lists in the offer summaries we hold, but you should confirm in the full terms before depositing. PayPal, Skrill, Neteller and prepaid cards are excluded at both. Apple Pay uses the card stored in your wallet, and credit cards cannot be used for gambling in Great Britain. See our Apple Pay casino bonus guide for how other brands treat it.

Which partner casino apps are casino-only?

Coral, Ladbrokes and PlayOJO publish dedicated casino apps. Coral's and Ladbrokes' casino apps are separate from their sportsbook apps, and PlayOJO is a casino-only brand. Casumo and 10bet each publish one combined app covering casino and sports betting. Since 19 January 2026 a single promotion cannot mix casino with betting, so combined apps still show separate offers for each product. Our casino apps vs mobile sites guide explains other differences.

What iPhone do I need for the Coral or Ladbrokes casino app?

According to their App Store listings checked on 20 October 2026, both the Coral Casino and Ladbrokes Casino apps need iOS 18.0 or later (or iPadOS 18.0). PlayOJO and Casumo need iOS 15.0 or later, and 10bet needs iOS 16.0. If your device cannot run the latest version, the mobile website gives you the same account, cashier and welcome offer in your browser. Our Coral casino app page lists the full compatibility details.

Is it safe to claim casino bonuses on mobile?

Yes, if you use a licensed casino's official app or website and protect your device. Download apps only from the App Store, Google Play or the casino's own site, lock your phone, and use a strong password. Ignore texts that say a bonus is waiting and ask you to tap a link, as these are a common phishing trick; open the app directly instead. The same UK rules apply on mobile as on desktop. The usual warning signs are listed in casino scams to avoid.

Do slot rules differ on mobile casino apps?

No. The game design rules apply to online slots wherever you play them: no autoplay, no turbo or slam stop, at least 2.5 seconds per spin and no celebration of a return equal to or below your stake, all since 31 October 2021. The stake limits of £5 a spin for players aged 25 and over and £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds apply in apps too, including when you play with bonus funds. Our latest slot rules page tracks every change with its date.

Why can't I find my mobile bonus in the app?

Usually because the spins need to be accepted, the qualifying stake was not completed, or an excluded payment method was used. Coral's spins must be accepted within 48 hours, and Ladbrokes' daily spins must be claimed before 23:59. Check the offers or rewards area, refresh or reopen the app, and confirm your deposit method qualified. If everything looks right and nothing appears, contact customer support with the date and amount. Our answer on why free spins may not appear covers other causes.

Can I stop casino offer texts on my phone?

Yes. Since 1 May 2025 casinos must let you choose marketing separately for each product and for email, SMS and phone, with opt-out as the default. Change your preferences in the account settings, and switch off push notifications in both the app and your phone's settings. Replying STOP to a genuine casino text should also work, but never tap links in a text you are unsure about. The Gambling Commission explains your rights on its page about stopping marketing. Our guide to casino marketing emails and texts covers the options.

Do casino apps use a lot of data when playing bonus spins?

It varies by game and app. Slots generally use modest data once loaded, while live dealer games stream video and use much more. App sizes also differ: the Coral and Ladbrokes iOS apps are around 101 MB to download, PlayOJO's about 25 MB. If you are using mobile data, start bonus spins on Wi-Fi and close the app when you finish. Our answer on whether casino apps drain battery and data gives more detail.
