How Google Pay casinos in the UK take your deposit
Google Pay lets you pay with a card saved in your Google account without typing the card details into the casino. At the cashier you choose Google Pay, enter an amount and approve it with your fingerprint, face unlock or device PIN. The casino receives a token, not your card number, and the money comes straight from the debit card behind it.
The service began in the UK as Android Pay in 2016 and was renamed Google Pay in 2018. At casinos it behaves much like Apple Pay, with one practical difference: our partners’ published terms make Google Pay deposits an Android-only feature. A side-by-side view is in Apple Pay vs Google Pay, and the full list of methods is on our casino payments hub.
Google Pay casinos UK: which partners publish it
Only two of our five partners publish Google Pay in their help centres. We don’t list a casino as accepting a method unless its own pages or our verified files say so.
Google Pay limits: £5 minimum and the £2,000 question
Coral and Ladbrokes publish a £5 minimum for Google Pay deposits and withdrawals, the lowest minimum either brand publishes for any method (Pay by Bank shares it). That suits players who want to keep sessions small: a £5 deposit is half the £10 needed to trigger either brand’s free spins offer, so it works for casual play rather than offers.
The maximum is less straightforward. Each Google Pay page lists £5,000, but the general deposit-methods pages say deposits are capped at £2,000 per deposit for UK customers. Read together, the lower UK cap is the one to expect on a single deposit; the cashier shows the live figure. Your own deposit limit, which UK casinos must prompt you to set before a first deposit since 31 October 2025, sits below both. See deposit limit rules.

How to deposit with Google Pay at a UK casino
Install Google Wallet on your Android device and add your debit card; your bank will verify it.
Set the debit card as your default and remove or deprioritise any credit card, which can’t be used to gamble.
Log in to the casino app or mobile site, open the cashier and, if prompted, set your financial limit.
Pick Google Pay and enter an amount from £5.
Confirm with your fingerprint, face unlock or PIN.
Look for the success message showing the amount and transaction ID; the funds appear in your balance instantly.
Google Pay withdrawals: where the money goes
Google Pay doesn’t keep a casino balance, so withdrawals are paid back to the debit card you used through Google Pay. Both brands let you request this on desktop, mobile web and Android apps, from a £5 minimum, even though deposits are Android-only.
Worked example: you deposit £20 at Ladbrokes through Google Pay using a Visa Debit card and later withdraw £75. The request goes through the review stage, then the money is sent towards that Visa card. Neither brand publishes a separate Google Pay payout time; the general timeframe is “instantly to five banking days depending on your method”, on top of internal processing. If the card is eligible for Visa Fast Funds, the card leg may be quicker, but that isn’t stated on the Google Pay pages, so treat it as possible rather than promised.
Open Withdraw in the cashier on any device.
Select Google Pay, or the card shown as linked to it.
Enter an amount from £5 and confirm.
Respond to any verification request; the casino can’t ask for ID it could have requested earlier as a condition of paying out.
None of our partners’ offer terms mentions Google Pay by name, so the deciding factor is the exclusion list. These terms were checked on 5 October 2026 and apply to new customers aged 18+; full terms apply.
Ladbrokes, up to 500 free spins: spend £10 on slots for 50 spins a day over 10 days, 10p each, claimed before 23:59 daily, valid 7 days, no wagering. Excluded methods are prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers; Google Pay isn’t named.
Coral, 100 free spins: bet £10 on slots after a qualifying deposit; spins are 10p on selected games with 48 hours to accept and 7 days to use, and winnings carry no wagering. Certain deposit types and certain debit cards are excluded, so check whether Google Pay counts.
Casumo, 50% up to £100: £20 minimum deposit, 10x wagering in 7 days, £5 max bet. Casumo doesn’t publish Google Pay, so you would deposit by card, Apple Pay or another listed method.
Google Pay keeps your card number away from the casino and requires device authentication for each payment, which makes card theft through a casino breach much less useful to a fraudster. Lock your phone with a strong PIN and turn on Find My Device so you can wipe it remotely.
Player protections come from the licence, not the payment app. Coral and Ladbrokes are run by LC International Limited, UKGC account 54743; our guide to checking a casino licence shows how to confirm any site. And because a £5 deposit is only a couple of taps away, a time-out or bank gambling block can help if you notice yourself depositing more often than planned.

Frequently asked questions
Which UK casinos accept Google Pay?
Among our partners, Coral and Ladbrokes publish Google Pay for deposits and withdrawals, each with a £5 minimum. Casumo and 10bet don’t list Google Pay in the sources we checked, and PlayOJO’s methods aren’t verified, so check their cashiers. Other UK-licensed casinos may accept it too; confirm the licence before you deposit. Our Ladbrokes payment methods page shows where Google Pay fits among that brand’s options.
What is the minimum Google Pay deposit at UK casinos?
At Coral and Ladbrokes it is £5, as published on their Google Pay help pages, and withdrawals also start at £5. That is lower than the £10 needed to trigger either brand’s free spins offer, so a £5 deposit won’t qualify on its own. Other casinos set their own minimums and often show them only in the cashier. Our £5 deposit casino bonus page explains what small deposits can and can’t unlock.
Can I withdraw to Google Pay?
You can choose Google Pay at the withdrawal stage at Coral and Ladbrokes, but the money goes to the debit card you used through Google Pay rather than to a Google balance. Withdrawals can be requested on desktop, mobile web or Android apps, from £5 up to £5,000 per the help pages. Neither brand publishes a separate Google Pay payout time. Our guide to how to withdraw casino winnings covers the general steps.
Can I use Google Pay on an iPhone or laptop at a casino?
Not for deposits at our partners. The Coral and Ladbrokes help pages say Google Pay deposits are available on Android mobiles and tablets. You can, however, request a Google Pay withdrawal from desktop or mobile web. iPhone users can use Apple Pay instead, which Coral, Ladbrokes and Casumo all list. Our Apple Pay casinos page explains how that works, and the casino apps vs mobile sites guide covers device differences.
Why does Coral list a £5,000 Google Pay maximum but a £2,000 cap?
The two figures come from different help pages. The Google Pay page lists a £5,000 maximum, while the general deposit-methods page says deposits are capped at £2,000 per deposit for UK customers. For a UK account, expect the £2,000 cap to apply to a single deposit and check the live figure in the cashier. Your own deposit limit applies before either. Our casino withdrawal limits guide explains how operators set caps.
Are there fees for Google Pay at casinos?
Coral and Ladbrokes say no fees are applied to Google Pay deposits, and both state they don’t charge withdrawal fees. Google doesn’t normally charge you for paying with a debit card stored in Google Wallet. If the card is in a different currency from your casino account, your bank might add a conversion fee. Check other casinos’ terms individually. Our casino payment fees guide lists the charges worth checking before you deposit.
Does Google Pay count for casino welcome offers?
It depends on the offer. Ladbrokes doesn’t name Google Pay among methods excluded from its play £10, get up to 500 free spins offer, while Coral excludes certain deposit types from its bet £10, get 100 free spins offer, so check its terms. Casumo doesn’t publish Google Pay at all. Offers are for new customers aged 18+ and terms apply. Our how to claim a casino bonus page sets out the usual steps.
Can I use a credit card through Google Pay to gamble?
No. The ban on gambling with credit cards, in force since 14 April 2020, applies however the card is presented, including through Google Pay. Coral’s Google Pay page mentions debit and credit cards because the service is used across several countries, but UK customers can’t deposit with credit cards. Set a debit card as your default in Google Wallet. Our credit card ban page explains the rule in full.
Is Google Pay safe for gambling?
Yes, at a UK-licensed casino. Google Pay sends a token instead of your card number and requires your fingerprint, face or PIN for each payment. Keep your device locked and enable remote wipe in case it is lost. Your rights on withdrawals, fair terms and complaints come from the casino’s Gambling Commission licence, so check that first. If quick deposits become a problem, a bank gambling block on the underlying card also stops Google Pay payments.
Gambling can be addictive. Free, confidential help is available 24 hours a day from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. Get free support from GamCare or NHS gambling support, or block yourself from all UK-licensed gambling sites with GAMSTOP.
