Who runs Midnite casino in the UK
Midnite is run by Dribble Media Limited, which holds UK Gambling Commission account 42647. Unlike many online operators, its head office is in Britain, at 86–90 Paul Street in London’s EC2A district, rather than in Gibraltar or Malta. The company was founded in 2016 by the team behind Dribble, a fantasy football app, and it built Midnite first as a sports and esports betting brand before moving into casino games.
Midnite’s licence timeline: from betting app to casino
The register lists each licensed activity with its start date, and for Midnite those dates tell the story of the business. All six activities sit under one remote licence and were active in October 2026.

So while the company has held licences for a decade, the casino side is relatively new: just over three years old in October 2026. A recent licence date doesn’t make a site less safe, but it’s useful context when you see older reviews or comparisons that don’t mention a Midnite casino at all. Our guide on how casinos get a UK licence explains what adding a new activity involves.
What Midnite offers: sport, esports, casino and live casino
Midnite’s products now cover a sportsbook, esports betting, an online casino and a live casino. Esports betting, on competitive video games, sets it apart from most traditional bookmakers. Live casino games stream real dealers from studios; if you are new to them, our guide to live casino explains how they work, and live vs RNG casino games compares the two formats.
Combining sport and casino in one account is common, but since 19 January 2026 the mixed-product promotions ban means one promotion can’t require a sports bet to unlock casino spins, or casino play to earn a free bet. The 10x wagering cap from the same date limits how much play any bonus may demand. A worked example: a £20 casino bonus can require at most £200 of wagering; before the cap, 40x terms would have meant £800.
Midnite’s sponsorships and the advertising rules
Midnite has become a visible name in British sport. Its sponsorships include the World Snooker Championship (2025, renewed for 2026), the Masters in 2026, and football clubs Sheffield United and Southampton. High-profile deals like these bring the advertising rules into focus.
Gambling marketing in the UK must be socially responsible and must not have strong appeal to under-18s, a standard tightened from 1 October 2022. Since 1 May 2025 operators also need your separate consent for each product and channel before they send you marketing. The industry’s voluntary whistle-to-whistle ban on certain TV adverts during live sport is a separate arrangement. Our pages on advertising rules and opting out of casino marketing explain your options if you would rather not see the ads.
Midnite’s regulatory record and what has changed
The register shows no regulatory actions against Dribble Media Limited as of October 2026. A clean record means no published sanctions; it isn’t a rating, and records can change. What has changed for Midnite customers in recent years is the same set of rule changes that apply to every UK site:
9 April 2025: online slot stakes capped at £5 a spin for players aged 25 and over; £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds from 21 May 2025.
28 February 2025: public-record financial vulnerability checks once net deposits pass £150 in a rolling 30 days.
31 October 2025: a prompt to set a financial limit before your first deposit.
19 January 2026: the 10x wagering cap and the mixed-product promotions ban.
1 April 2026: remote gaming duty paid by operators rises from 21% to 40% of profits; players still pay no tax on winnings.
Scroll to the footer of the Midnite site or app and find the Gambling Commission account number; it should be 42647.
Search the Commission’s register of businesses by that number or by Dribble Media Limited.
Confirm the casino activity shows as Active from 15 May 2023.
Open the domain names tab and check the web address you are using is listed.
Look at the regulatory actions tab; as of October 2026 it records none.
If any of these don’t match, close the site and don’t deposit.
Safer gambling tools at Midnite
As a UK licensee, Dribble Media must give Midnite customers deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion, and must take part in GAMSTOP. Since 31 October 2025 setting a financial limit before your first deposit is the default, and opting out must be confirmed. Fast in-play betting and quick casino rounds can make spending harder to track, so a short reality check interval is worth setting. GAMSTOP (opens in a new tab) blocks every British-licensed site and app at once, and the National Gambling Helpline, 0808 8020 133, is free and open 24 hours.
Complaints at Midnite: the UK process
Complaints start with Midnite’s own procedure. Under UK rules the operator has eight weeks to resolve a complaint, after which it must refer you to its approved alternative dispute resolution provider, free of charge. The Commission’s complaints page (opens in a new tab) explains its role, which doesn’t include settling individual disputes. Our guide to complaining about a casino lists what to include.
How Midnite compares as a type of UK casino
Midnite is a sports-first, UK-headquartered operator that added a casino later. That is a different model from land-based groups such as Rank, or from casino-first brands like our partners. The table compares site types, not quality.

PlayOJO gives 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza, at 10p, for a first deposit of £10 or more, with winnings paid in cash and no wagering. New UK customers only, excluding Northern Ireland.
Casumo matches 50% of a first deposit of £20 or more, up to £100, once you opt in. A £200 deposit earns the full £100, which must be wagered 10x (£1,000) within 7 days with no bet above £5. Compare everything on latest casino offers.

Frequently asked questions
Who owns Midnite casino?
Midnite is run by Dribble Media Limited, a London-based company founded in 2016 by the team behind the Dribble fantasy football app. It holds UK Gambling Commission account 42647 and its head office is on Paul Street, London EC2A. Dribble Media is the licence holder, so it manages your account, payments, verification and complaints. You can see its full list of licensed activities on the register. Our casino licence check guide explains how to look it up.
Is Midnite licensed in the UK?
Yes. Dribble Media Limited holds a UK remote licence under account 42647 covering casino (since 15 May 2023), bingo (since 10 July 2024), several types of betting and gambling software. That means Midnite must verify your age and identity, offer safer gambling tools, take part in GAMSTOP, and follow the slot stake caps and 10x wagering cap. Our what does UKGC licensed mean page explains what each of those obligations involves for players.
When did Midnite start offering casino games?
Midnite’s remote casino licence has been active since 15 May 2023, so its casino is a little over three years old as of October 2026. Before that the company focused on sports and esports betting, with a general betting licence active since December 2018 and pool betting since October 2016. Bingo followed in July 2024. Older reviews may describe Midnite only as a bookmaker for that reason. Our new vs established casinos comparison explains what a recent casino licence does and doesn’t tell you.
Is Midnite a UK company?
Yes. Dribble Media Limited has its head office at 86–90 Paul Street, London, which is less common among online operators, many of which are based in Gibraltar or Malta. For your protection the location of the company matters less than the licence: every operator serving British customers must hold a Gambling Commission licence and follow the same rules wherever it is registered. Operators pay UK remote gaming duty at 40% of profits since 1 April 2026. See our remote casino licence page for more.
Has Midnite ever been fined?
No regulatory actions are recorded against Dribble Media Limited on the Gambling Commission register as of October 2026. That means no published penalties or settlements against the company, though it doesn’t amount to a rating, and the register can change. You can check the regulatory actions tab yourself at any time. For comparison and context, our Gambling Commission fines page lists recent actions against other online operators, with dates and amounts.
Can I use a Midnite sports bonus on casino games?
Not through a single cross-product promotion. Since 19 January 2026 UK operators can’t offer deals that require play on one product, such as a football bet, to unlock a reward on another, such as casino spins, or the other way round. Midnite can run separate casino and sports offers, each with wagering of no more than 10 times. If an old advert describes a bet-and-get-spins deal, it predates the rule. Our mixed-product promotions ban page explains the details.
Is Midnite safe to use?
Midnite operates on an active UK licence with no regulatory actions recorded against its operator as of October 2026, so it is bound by British rules on fairness, data, safer gambling and complaints. That makes it safe in a regulatory sense, but not a way to make money; betting and casino games both have a built-in margin, so losses are likely over time. Use the deposit limit prompt when you sign up. Our are online casinos safe in the UK page explains what a licence protects.
Why do I see Midnite adverts during sport?
Midnite sponsors several sports properties, including the World Snooker Championship, the Masters in 2026 and the football clubs Sheffield United and Southampton, so its branding appears at events and on kits. Sponsorship is governed by the UK advertising codes, which require gambling marketing to be socially responsible and not strongly appealing to under-18s. Direct marketing to you needs your consent for each product and channel since May 2025. Our guide to opting out of casino marketing explains how to stop emails and texts.
How do I self-exclude from Midnite?
Use the self-exclusion option in your Midnite account or contact customer support, choosing a period. The operator must then close your account and remove you from marketing. To block every British-licensed gambling website and app at once, including Midnite, register with GAMSTOP, which is free and runs for six months, one year or five years and can’t be shortened. Using both together gives the strongest block. Our guide on how to self-exclude explains the process step by step.
How do I complain about Midnite?
Follow the complaints procedure on the Midnite site and keep records of dates, amounts and any messages. Dribble Media has eight weeks to resolve your complaint. If it can’t, or you disagree with the final response, it must refer you to its approved alternative dispute resolution provider, which is free and independent. The Gambling Commission doesn’t decide individual complaints. Our complaints and ADR rules page sets out the time limits, including how long you have to take a case to ADR.
Gambling can be addictive. Free, confidential help is available 24 hours a day from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. Get free support from GamCare or NHS gambling support, or block yourself from all UK-licensed gambling sites with GAMSTOP.
