Who operates Kitty Bingo
The company behind Kitty Bingo in Great Britain is Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited. That is the legal operator you deal with when you register, deposit or ask for a withdrawal, and its name, rather than the brand name, is what appears on the Gambling Commission's records.
Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited is the online arm of The Rank Group, a London-listed company best known on the high street for Grosvenor casinos and Mecca bingo clubs. Kitty Bingo is one of a dozen brands Rank runs online from the same account.

Rank's register entry for account 57924 (opens in a new tab) listed the following on 20 October 2026. Bingo sites need a bingo licence for the bingo rooms and a casino licence for the slots and instant games that sit beside them, and this account holds both.

The 2022 start date reflects when this particular Rank company was licensed, not when the Kitty Bingo name first appeared. Brands can move from one licensed company to another inside a group, and the register only shows the current holder. Kitty Bingo history: from Stride Gaming to Rank
Kitty Bingo started life outside Rank. It was one of the brands of Stride Gaming, an AIM-listed bingo and slots operator. Rank agreed to buy Stride in 2019, the deal cleared Gambling Commission review in September 2019, and Rank announced completion on 4 October 2019. Trade reports valued Stride at about £115 million earlier that year.
Trade coverage of the deal named Kitty Bingo alongside other Stride brands including Lucky Pants, Lucky VIP, Regal Wins and Spin and Win. In November 2020 Rank reported the first stage of moving Stride's brands onto its own Rank Interactive platform, starting with Bella Casino. Today all of those names appear on the same Rank licence.

What UK rules mean on a bingo site like Kitty Bingo
Bingo brands are often thought of as gentler than casinos, but most of the money staked on a typical bingo site goes through slots and instant games in the side menu. The rules for those games are the same as at any online casino:
Slot stakes are capped at £5 a spin for players aged 25 and over, under the £5 slot stake limit, and at £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds.
Slots can't autoplay, can't spin faster than once every 2.5 seconds, and can't celebrate a win that is equal to or less than your stake.
Bonus wagering can't exceed 10x since 19 January 2026.
Offers can't mix products, so a bingo ticket deal can't require you to play slots to receive it.
The bingo rooms themselves follow their own game mechanics. If you are new to them, our guides to online bingo and the classic 90-ball format explain ticket prices, patterns and how prize pots are set. A worked example: buying six tickets at 10p each costs 60p a game, so 20 games costs £12 whether you win a line or not.
How to check Kitty Bingo on the Gambling Commission register
Go to the Gambling Commission's register of gambling businesses.
Search by domain using kittybingo.com rather than the brand name.
Open the result and confirm it shows Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited, account 57924.
Check that the bingo and casino licences both read Active.
Finish on the regulatory actions tab to see any published sanctions.
Searching by domain is the safer habit, because many unrelated companies use similar bingo names. Our guide on how to check a casino licence decodes the status, activity and domain fields one by one.
Kitty Bingo regulatory record
No regulatory actions were listed against Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited when we checked on 20 October 2026. The register only lists formal outcomes against the current licence holder, so it won't necessarily show matters involving the companies that ran Stride's brands before the move. For how the Commission sanctions online operators generally, see Gambling Commission fines.
Deposits, limits and safer gambling at Kitty Bingo
As a British licensee, Kitty Bingo's operator must ask you to set a financial limit before your first deposit, a rule in force since 31 October 2025. Lowering a limit takes effect straight away. Our page on deposit limit rules explains how increases are handled.
Other protections follow the same pattern across all British sites: credit cards can't be used, you can't reverse a withdrawal back into your balance, and the operator must tell you how well your money is protected if the company fails, under the player funds protection rules. If gambling starts to cost more than you planned, GAMSTOP (opens in a new tab) lets you block every licensed site, and the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 is free and open all day and night.
How Kitty Bingo compares with other UK bingo and casino sites
Kitty Bingo is a mid-sized brand inside one of Britain's biggest land-based gambling groups. Compared with an independent bingo site, the main difference is scale: shared payment systems, a shared compliance team and a long list of sister brands. Compared with a casino-first brand, the main difference is the bingo lobby and community chat. If you want to weigh the two styles, our bingo vs slots comparison explains how the costs per hour differ.

Frequently asked questions
Who owns Kitty Bingo?
Kitty Bingo is owned by The Rank Group and operated by Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited under Gambling Commission account 57924. Rank, which also owns Mecca and Grosvenor, picked up the brand when it completed the takeover of Stride Gaming on 4 October 2019. The Gibraltar company is the one you contract with and the one named in the terms. Our UK casino brands A–Z shows the operator behind each brand we cover.
Is Kitty Bingo licensed by the UK Gambling Commission?
Yes. Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited holds remote bingo, casino and betting licences that have been active since 11 March 2022, and kittybingo.com was listed as an Active domain when we checked on 20 October 2026. That means Kitty Bingo must follow every British rule, including slot stake limits and the 10x wagering cap. Use our steps for checking a casino licence to confirm it hasn't changed.
Is Kitty Bingo part of Mecca Bingo?
Kitty Bingo and Mecca Bingo are separate brands, but online they share the same operator, Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited, and the same licence, account 57924. In practice that means the same company holds your balance, handles complaints and applies the core account rules at both. The branding, the lobby layout and the promotions on offer all differ between the two. Our profile of Mecca Bingo covers the longer-established sister brand.
Was Kitty Bingo a Stride Gaming site?
Yes. Trade coverage of Rank's 2019 takeover named Kitty Bingo as one of Stride Gaming's brands, alongside Lucky Pants, Lucky VIP, Regal Wins and Spin and Win. Rank completed the deal on 4 October 2019 and later moved Stride's brands onto its own platform in stages. The brand now trades on Rank's licence. If you're curious how brand moves affect players, see our page on rebranded casinos.
What are Kitty Bingo's sister sites?
Kitty Bingo's sister sites on account 57924 are Grosvenor, Mecca Bingo, Mecca Games, Rialto Casino, Lucky VIP, Lucky Pants Bingo, Magical Vegas, Bella Casino, Regal Wins, Spin and Win and The Vic. All share Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited as operator. Opening accounts at several of them is allowed in principle, but read each set of terms first. Our guide to holding multiple casino accounts explains the usual restrictions.
Has Kitty Bingo been fined?
The register showed no regulatory actions against Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited when we checked on 20 October 2026. The register only records action against the current licensee, so it won't reflect any matters involving companies that held the brand before Rank. To see the kinds of failings the Commission does penalise, with dates and amounts, read our summary of Gambling Commission fines.
Are the slots on Kitty Bingo subject to stake limits?
Yes. Any online slot on a British-licensed bingo site follows the same stake caps as a casino: £5 a spin if you are 25 or over, and £2 a spin if you are 18 to 24. The limits have applied since 9 April 2025 and 21 May 2025 respectively. Bingo tickets aren't slots, so the cap doesn't apply to them. Our page on the £2 slot stake limit explains how age is checked.
Can I self-exclude from Kitty Bingo and its sister sites at once?
The surest way to block Kitty Bingo and every other British-licensed site together is GAMSTOP, which is free and lasts from six months to five years. You can also self-exclude directly with the operator, but ask whether that covers all of Rank's brands or just one. Once a GAMSTOP exclusion starts, it can't be cancelled early. Our guide to using GAMSTOP walks through sign-up.
Is my money safe at Kitty Bingo?
Every British licensee must tell you, before your first deposit, how well customer funds are protected if the company becomes insolvent: not protected, medium or high protection. Kitty Bingo's terms will state which level applies, and we haven't verified the rating ourselves. Since 31 October 2025, operators with unprotected funds must also remind customers every six months. Our page on player funds protection walks through what each of the three ratings means if a licensee fails.
How do I complain about Kitty Bingo?
Use the complaints process in Kitty Bingo's terms first, giving dates, amounts and screenshots. The operator has eight weeks to resolve it. If it can't, or you disagree with the final answer, it must refer you to a free alternative dispute resolution service. The Gambling Commission doesn't settle individual disputes. The full process is in our guide on how to complain about a casino.
Gambling can be addictive. Free, confidential help is available 24 hours a day from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. Get free support from GamCare or NHS gambling support, or block yourself from all UK-licensed gambling sites with GAMSTOP.
