Latest casino bonus codes UK: at our 5 October 2026 check, none of the five licensed casinos we cover needed a promo code for its welcome offer. Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO, Casumo and 10bet each use a qualifying bet, an offer link, an opt-in or a choice at sign-up instead. Here is what triggers each one, and why code lists mislead.
No code needed at Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO, Casumo or 10bet (checked 5 October 2026).
Each offer is triggered by an offer link, an opt-in, a sign-up choice or a qualifying slot bet.
No code can lift the 10x wagering cap or join casino and sports offers together.

Offers change with each promotion period, and since January 2026 any code promising more than 10x-capped terms is obsolete.
Why codes have faded
Most welcome offers are now applied automatically when you arrive through the right link or opt in. A code is one more thing to mistype, and casinos have largely dropped them.
Where a code is still mentioned
10bet’s bonus doesn’t need one either: the casino welcome bonus is chosen on the registration form, and any code box can be left empty for this offer.
Code lists
Pages listing dozens of codes are rarely kept current, and no code can lift the ten times wagering cap.
Casino bonus codes UK: what each casino uses instead of a code
A casino bonus code used to be the key that unlocked a welcome offer. At the five UK-licensed casinos this site covers, that key has been replaced by something else: a qualifying slot bet, an offer link, an opt-in button or a choice on the registration form. None of them asked for a promo code on 5 October 2026. The table shows the trigger for each and the slip that most often costs players the offer.

Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain), so one person may not be able to hold new accounts at both; check the terms before you register a second account.
What a casino promo code is, and why most UK casinos dropped them
A promo code, bonus code or voucher code is a short string of letters typed into the sign-up form or the cashier. It did two jobs: it told the casino which promotion you were claiming, and it recorded where you heard about it. Both jobs are now done without typing anything. Welcome offers are attached to the page you register from, a tick box or button records your opt-in, and tracked links tell the casino which website or advert sent you.
That change has practical benefits for players. A mistyped code can no longer cost you an offer, and the terms you see on the landing page are the ones that apply. It also explains why so many code lists still circulate: when a casino stops using codes, the old ones don’t disappear from the web, they simply stop working. Some pages keep republishing them because codes attract searches.
Why sites like this one still talk about codes
Affiliate websites earn commission when readers sign up through their links, which is how this site is funded; our advertiser disclosure explains the arrangement. A tracked link replaces the old affiliate code, so you don’t need to type anything to claim an offer that a site has linked to. Our guide to what a casino affiliate is covers how that tracking works and what it means for the offers you see.
Where to enter a casino bonus code, and when to leave the box empty
Some casinos still show a promo code field even when no current offer uses one. If you are claiming one of the five welcome offers on this page, leave it empty. If you are claiming a different offer that genuinely needs a code, it will be printed in that offer’s terms on the casino’s own website. Follow this order to make sure the offer is attached to your account.
Open the offer page on the casino’s own website and read the significant terms: eligibility, minimum deposit, excluded payment methods, wagering and time limits.
Check whether those terms mention a code. If they don’t, none is needed, and anything typed into a code box is ignored or may clash with the offer.
Register with details that match your bank records, so the age and identity check required before any deposit or bonus can pass.
Opt in or select the welcome offer where the form asks you to, and set a deposit limit when you are prompted before your first deposit.
Deposit with a payment method the terms allow, at or above the minimum.
Check that the bonus or spins appear, and contact support straight away if they don’t.
If an offer needs an opt-in, the button usually sits on the promotions page or in the cashier, not on the registration form. A qualifying deposit is the first payment that meets every condition in the terms, which is why the method you choose matters as much as the amount. Our walkthrough of how to claim a casino bonus covers the same steps for any offer.
Casino bonus code not working? Why a welcome offer fails to credit
When players search for a bonus code that works, the real problem is often that an offer didn’t credit and they assume a code was missing. At the five casinos covered here, the cause is almost always one of the conditions in the terms. The most common ones are listed below, with the fix.
Why a UK casino welcome offer may not credit, and what to do
What happened
Where it applies
What to do
Deposited by PayPal or another excluded method
Coral and Ladbrokes exclude PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafe and prepaid cards; Coral also excludes certain debit cards
Read the exclusions before depositing; a later qualifying deposit may not revive a first-deposit offer
Deposited before opting in
Casumo requires an opt-in
Contact support immediately and ask whether the opt-in can be applied
Deposit below the minimum
Casumo’s offer needs £20 (the general minimum is £10)
Check the offer minimum, not just the cashier minimum
Didn’t use the designated offer link
PlayOJO’s spins are only available via the offer link
Ask support; the terms say the link is required
Picked the sports welcome offer
10bet asks you to choose casino or sport at sign-up
One welcome offer per customer; choose carefully
Spins not accepted or claimed in time
Coral: 48 hours to accept; Ladbrokes: claim before 23:59 each day
Ask for a formal complaint through the casino’s published complaints procedure and keep screenshots of the offer page and your deposit. A licensed casino has 8 weeks to resolve a complaint, after which it must offer referral to a free alternative dispute resolution service. The Gambling Commission’s guide to complaining about a gambling business (opens in a new tab) sets out the process.
No deposit bonus codes and free spins codes in the UK: what’s real
No deposit bonus codes are among the most searched casino terms, and the least reliable. None of our five partner casinos offers a no-deposit bonus, and none needs a code for any welcome offer. Where no-deposit deals do exist at licensed UK casinos, they tend to be small, short-dated and tied to strict terms such as low maximum winnings.
Since 7 May 2019, licensed online casinos have had to verify your age and identity before you can deposit or gamble, including with a free bet or bonus. A code promising instant no-deposit play without any checks is therefore a warning sign rather than a bargain: either the offer is out of date or the site isn’t licensed in Great Britain. Our explainer on why there are so few no-deposit bonuses and our page on no deposit bonus codes cover the economics in more depth, and the age verification rules explain what checks happen first.
What the current spins offers cost to unlock
Coral: a £10 bet on slots unlocks 100 spins at 10p, so £10 of spins for £10 of slot stakes.
Ladbrokes: £10 spent on slots unlocks up to 50 spins a day for 10 days, up to £50 of spins at 10p.
PlayOJO: a first deposit of £10 or more brings 80 spins at 10p on Big Bass Bonanza, £8 of spins, with winnings paid in cash.
None of these needs a code, and none is free of a deposit: each requires you to pay in and, for Coral and Ladbrokes, to stake £10 on slots first. 18+, new customers, terms apply.
Bonus codes for existing customers, refer-a-friend deals and emailed offers
Codes survive longer in offers for people who already have an account. A reload deal or a prize draw may still be sent by email with a code to type into the cashier, and refer-a-friend schemes sometimes use a personal code. Whether you receive these at all is now your choice: since 1 May 2025, casinos must let you opt in to marketing separately for each product (casino, betting, bingo) and each channel (email, SMS, phone), with opt-out as the default.
Three checks apply to any code that arrives by email or text. First, the offer must stand alone as one gambling product: since 19 January 2026 a code can’t make you bet on sport to unlock casino spins. Second, any wagering is capped at 10 times the bonus. Third, the full terms should be one click away from the message. Our guides to casino email and SMS offers, the marketing consent rules and the latest offers for existing customers go into each one.
If a casino identifies strong signs that you may be experiencing gambling harm, licence conditions require it to stop marketing and new bonus take-up for you. A code that stops working in that situation is the rules doing their job.
Are casino bonus codes legit? Myths and facts about code sites
Many code pages are harmless but stale. A few are designed to send players to casinos that aren’t licensed in Great Britain, where none of the UK protections on wagering, withdrawals or self-exclusion apply. The table separates the common claims from what the rules actually say.

How the rules on bonus codes and offers changed, 2018 to 2026
Bonus codes faded partly through technology and partly through regulation. Several of the rules that now govern UK casino offers were written in response to confusing or unfair promotions, including code-driven ones.

Frequently asked questions
What are the latest casino bonus codes?
There are none to enter: at our 5 October 2026 check, none of the five licensed casinos we cover needed a bonus code for its welcome offer. Coral and Ladbrokes trigger free spins after a £10 slot bet, PlayOJO uses a designated offer link, Casumo uses an opt-in and 10bet asks you to choose the casino bonus at sign-up. If a website lists a code for any of these offers, it is out of date or unnecessary. 18+, new customers, terms apply to every offer.
Is there a no deposit code?
No. None of the five casinos covered here offers a no-deposit bonus, so there is no no-deposit code to find for Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO, Casumo or 10bet. Each welcome offer needs a first deposit, and the spins offers at Coral and Ladbrokes also need £10 of slot stakes. Pages promising working no-deposit codes for these brands are usually recycling expired promotions. Our page on no deposit casino offers tracks whether that changes.
Where do I enter a code?
When an offer genuinely needs a code, you type it into a promo code field on the sign-up form or in the cashier when you deposit, and the offer terms say which. For the five welcome offers on this page, you don’t enter anything: leave the field empty and follow the trigger instead, whether that is a qualifying slot bet, an opt-in, an offer link or a choice on the registration form. If an offer fails to appear after you have met the terms, contact the casino’s support team before you play on.
When checked?
We last checked the welcome offers and code requirements on this page on 5 October 2026. Each casino’s terms were read on that date, and the conclusion was the same for all five: no code needed. Offers change between promotion periods, and Coral’s current one runs from 1 October 2026 to 1 February 2027, so the next round of changes may come after that. If the casino’s own page differs from what is written here, its terms apply.
Is autoplay allowed on slots?
No, autoplay has been banned on online slots in Great Britain since 31 October 2021, and the ban was extended to other online casino games on 17 January 2025. That matters for bonus play: free spins from a welcome offer are played one at a time, and each slot spin must last at least 2.5 seconds. No bonus code, app or setting can switch autoplay back on at a licensed casino. Our page on the autoplay ban explains the rule and why it was introduced.
Can I buy a slot's bonus round?
Not at UK-licensed casinos: slots supplied to them don’t offer feature buys, so you can’t pay a lump sum to jump straight to the bonus round. Bonus rounds still exist, but you reach them through ordinary spins. No promo code changes that, and a code site promising bonus-buy access is pointing you towards casinos outside the UK system. Our page on why you can’t buy a slot feature in the UK explains how games are supplied to Great Britain.
What if I have a complaint about a casino?
Complain to the casino first, using its published complaints procedure, and keep evidence such as screenshots of the offer page. A licensed casino has 8 weeks to resolve your complaint; if it hasn’t, it must tell you how to take it to a free, independent alternative dispute resolution service. That covers disputes about offers that didn’t credit, as well as withdrawals. The Gambling Commission doesn’t settle individual complaints. See casino complaints and ADR for the full route.
How current is this page?
This page is current to our check on 5 October 2026, the date shown at the top. The code requirements and offer triggers were read from each casino’s published terms that day, and the rule changes cited are current to October 2026. It is not a live feed, so a casino could change its offer, or add a code, before our next check. Before you register, compare the date here with the terms on the casino’s own offer page, which always take priority.
What is the maximum wagering on a UK casino bonus?
The legal maximum is 10 times the bonus, in force since 19 January 2026 for every casino licensed by the Gambling Commission. A code can’t raise or bypass it. Of the five welcome offers here, Casumo’s and 10bet’s matched bonuses sit at exactly 10x, while the free spins offers from Coral, Ladbrokes and PlayOJO carry no wagering on spin winnings. On a £100 bonus, 10x means £1,000 of stakes before withdrawal. The 10x wagering cap page has the detail.
Do I need a promo code for Coral or Ladbrokes?
No, neither Coral nor Ladbrokes needs a promo code for its current welcome offer. At Coral you deposit and bet £10 or more on slots to receive 100 free spins at 10p each, accepted within 48 hours and valid for 7 days. At Ladbrokes you deposit and spend £10 or more on slots to receive 50 free spins a day for 10 days, up to 500, claimed before 23:59 each day. Both exclude PayPal and several other deposit methods. 18+, new customers, terms apply.
Why did my casino bonus code not work?
Usually because the offer doesn’t use a code, or because a condition in the terms wasn’t met. At the five casinos covered here, the common causes are an excluded deposit method such as PayPal at Coral or Ladbrokes, depositing before opting in at Casumo, depositing less than Casumo’s £20 minimum, signing up to PlayOJO without the offer link, or choosing 10bet’s sports offer. Contact support with screenshots as soon as you notice, and read what happens if you break bonus terms.
Are there casino bonus codes for existing customers?
Sometimes. Existing-customer promotions such as reloads, prize draws or refer-a-friend schemes are more likely than welcome offers to use a code, often sent by email or text. You only receive those messages if you have opted in to casino marketing on that channel, under rules in force since 1 May 2025. Any such offer must still respect the 10x wagering cap and the mixed-product ban. See our guide to refer-a-friend casino bonuses for how referral codes usually work.
Is it safe to use casino bonus codes from other websites?
It is safe only if the code is for a UK-licensed casino and the offer it describes matches the casino’s own terms. Many code websites are simply out of date, which is harmless but frustrating. Some, though, steer readers to sites that aren’t licensed in Great Britain, where the protections on wagering, withdrawals and self-exclusion don’t apply. Check the operator on the Gambling Commission’s register first, and treat promises of huge bonuses or no ID checks as red flags.
