PlayOJO promotions for existing customers centre on OJOplus, which pays a small amount of cash back on every game played, plus daily Kickers offers, the OJO Wheel, Reel Spinoffs tournaments and the invitation-only Club OJO. PlayOJO’s help pages say its free spins carry no wagering. This guide explains how each reward works, what the UK rules allow, and how to judge real value.
OJOplus returns cash on every game played; you collect it from the COLLECT tab, and it reduces rather than removes the cost of play.
Kickers are personalised daily offers, so what one customer sees can differ from another.
Reel Spinoffs tournament winnings are leaderboard points; only top finishers receive prizes.
Since 19 January 2026, any wagered bonus is capped at 10x and offers can’t mix casino with betting or bingo.

PlayOJO promotions for existing customers: what’s available
Once the welcome spins are used, PlayOJO keeps rewarding play through a set of standing features rather than a rotating calendar of reload bonuses. PlayOJO’s help page (opens in a new tab), checked 20 October 2026, describes each one. The table summarises them; the sections that follow explain how they work in practice and what to watch.

Rewards for existing players work differently from a welcome offer: they are often personalised, they change without notice, and they depend on how much you play. That last point is why they deserve as much scrutiny as any sign-up deal. Our overview of the latest offers for existing customers compares the approach across the casinos we cover.
OJOplus: PlayOJO’s money back on every game
OJOplus is the feature PlayOJO is best known for. As you play real-money games, a small amount of cash builds up in your OJOplus balance, and you move it to your main balance from the COLLECT tab. PlayOJO’s help page says games carry between one and three OJO+ icons, with three indicating the highest return; the rate isn’t a single published figure, so check the icon on each game.
The right way to think about OJOplus is as a small reduction in the cost of play, not as winnings. Suppose a slot returns 96% to players on average, so over a long run £100 of stakes costs about £4. If OJOplus added back a fraction of a per cent of stakes, the expected cost might fall from £4 to a little over £3. You would still expect to lose over time, just slightly less. That is a genuine benefit, and it comes with no wagering, but it never turns play into a way to make money. Our guide to the house edge and our page on cashback casino bonuses explain the maths.
The percentage in the example is illustrative only. PlayOJO shows the OJOplus level per game with icons, and your account shows the actual amounts collected.
Kickers: PlayOJO’s daily offers for existing customers
Kickers are PlayOJO’s targeted promotions: free spins, deposit bonuses, prizes and other perks that appear in the Kickers section of your account, with new ones added every day. Because they are personalised, two customers can see different Kickers on the same day. Each one has its own terms, so read them every time rather than assuming they match the last one.
Log in and open the Kickers section of your account.
Open the Kicker and read its terms: deposit needed, spin value, games, expiry and any wagering.
If it needs a deposit, check the amount fits within your deposit limit and budget.
Claim it using the button or code shown; PlayOJO’s help page suggests using the offer link or contacting support if a code fails.
Use any spins promptly; PlayOJO’s help page says its free spins expire after 24 hours.
Check your balance afterwards to confirm the reward landed as described.
According to the same help pages, PlayOJO free spins have no wagering requirements, which means any winnings go straight to your cash balance. If a Kicker is a deposit bonus rather than spins, read its terms carefully: under UK rules any wagering on it can’t exceed 10x. Our guide to free spins for existing customers explains how these offers usually work, and daily free spins covers the format in more detail.
OJO Levels and the OJO Wheel
OJO Levels is PlayOJO’s loyalty ladder. Playing earns points, and points move you up levels that unlock rewards. PlayOJO’s help page states that you can never go down a level, which removes the pressure some loyalty schemes create to keep playing just to hold a tier. Our glossary entry on loyalty points and the guide to casino loyalty programmes explain how schemes like this are usually structured.
Reaching a level, or receiving a treat, can earn spins on the OJO Wheel. PlayOJO describes three wheels, named Wheely Easy, The Wheel Deal and Are You for Wheel, which differ in risk and prize size, and says you have seven days to use a wheel spin before it lapses. A lower-risk wheel pays smaller prizes more often; a higher-risk one pays larger prizes less often. Neither changes the fact that points are earned by staking money, so the wheel is a by-product of play rather than a reason to play more.
Reel Spinoffs: PlayOJO’s slot tournaments
Reel Spinoffs are tournaments on slots. Some are freerolls with no entry fee, but PlayOJO’s help page says you must have deposited within the last three days to join those. Others have a buy-in you pay from your balance or by depositing. Your tournament ‘winnings’ are points on a leaderboard, not cash; only the top finishers receive prizes.
A worked example
Imagine a Spinoff with a £2 buy-in and 500 entrants, where the top 20 places win prizes. That leaves 480 of the 500 entrants, or 96%, outside the prizes, so for most people the £2 is the cost of entertainment. If you enter one Spinoff a day for a month, that is £60 in buy-ins, which belongs in your budget like any other stake. The freeroll version costs nothing to enter, but the three-day deposit condition means it is tied to recent deposits. The casino tournaments guide covers prize structures in more depth.
Prize Twister, Play Boosters and Hot or Cold
PlayOJO’s help page lists a few further features. Prize Twister has three reels that award prizes such as free spins, cash and scratchcards, with tiered twister prizes on top. Play Boosters are earned through points on participating games; when a booster unlocks, cash is added to your real-money balance. Both are linked to play on particular games, so check which games take part before assuming your stakes count.
Hot or Cold shows the games that have paid out most and least recently, refreshed every five minutes. PlayOJO’s own page states that it does not affect future results, which is correct: each spin is independent, and a ‘cold’ slot isn’t due a win. Our explainers on the gambler’s fallacy and do slots pay more at night? explain why past results don’t predict the next spin.
Club OJO: PlayOJO’s invitation-only VIP scheme
Club OJO is PlayOJO’s VIP tier, which it calls the A-list. It is invitation only. According to the help page, members get an A-list manager, tailored offers and birthday gifts, and PlayOJO lists higher-value spin types for members: Super Spins between 50p and 99p and Mega Spins worth £1 or more, compared with standard free spins of up to 50p.
UK rules on VIP schemes have been strict since 31 October 2020. Before an operator invites someone into a VIP programme, it must check that their spending is affordable and sustainable, look for signs of harm, and hold up-to-date evidence on identity, occupation and source of funds; a senior manager holding a personal licence must oversee the scheme. Our VIP scheme rules page explains the detail. If you are invited and feel the attention is encouraging you to spend more than you planned, you can decline and ask to be removed.
How to judge the value of PlayOJO promotions
Existing-customer rewards feel generous because they arrive steadily, but their value is easiest to judge in pounds. Multiply spins by their value, then remember that the expected return is a little less than that. These quick examples use numbers from PlayOJO’s published spin bands and a typical slot return.
Worked values for typical PlayOJO reward types
Reward
Face value
What it’s likely worth in practice
20 free spins at 10p
£2.00 of spins
About £1.90 at a 96% slot return; no wagering
10 Super Spins at 50p
£5.00 of spins
About £4.80 at 96%, but results vary widely
Freeroll Spinoff
No entry fee
Prize only if you finish in the paid places
£2 buy-in Spinoff
£2 cost per entry
Most entrants receive no prize
OJOplus
Small cash back per game
Slightly lowers the cost of play; doesn’t remove the edge
Count only rewards you would have used anyway; a reward that prompts an extra deposit costs money.
Check expiry: PlayOJO’s help page says free spins expire after 24 hours and wheel spins after 7 days.
Look for any wagering on non-spin bonuses; it can’t exceed 10x under UK rules.
Keep rewards inside your deposit limit rather than raising the limit for them.
Our guide to how casino promotions work goes further on the maths behind ongoing offers.
UK rules on promotions for existing PlayOJO customers
Since 19 January 2026, two Gambling Commission rules apply to every casino promotion, including those for existing customers. First, wagering on any bonus is capped at 10 times; a £10 bonus can require no more than £100 of play. Second, a single promotion can’t mix gambling products, so an offer can’t require a bingo or sports bet to unlock casino rewards. The Commission set out both in its announcement on safer, simpler promotions (opens in a new tab); our pages on the 10x wagering cap and the mixed-product promotions ban explain them.

Keeping PlayOJO promotions in check
Promotions are designed to bring you back, so it helps to decide how much contact you want. Since 1 May 2025, the direct marketing preferences code (opens in a new tab) has required casinos to ask you to opt in separately for each product and each channel. You can turn off casino emails while keeping texts, or switch off everything, in your account preferences; our guide to opting out of casino marketing shows how.
Deposit limits, time reminders and a cooling-off freeze all work alongside promotions, and a freeze stops marketing while it lasts. The full list is on our PlayOJO safer gambling tools page. If rewards ever feel like a reason to keep playing rather than a bonus on top of planned play, the National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133.

Frequently asked questions
Does PlayOJO have promotions for existing customers?
Yes. PlayOJO’s help pages describe several ongoing rewards for existing players: OJOplus cash back on every game, daily Kickers offers, OJO Levels with OJO Wheel spins, Reel Spinoffs tournaments, Prize Twister, Play Boosters and the invitation-only Club OJO. Kickers are personalised, so what you see may differ from another customer. Each reward has its own terms, and any wagered bonus is capped at 10x under UK rules since 19 January 2026. Our overview of offers for existing customers compares approaches across casinos.
What is OJOplus and how does it work?
OJOplus is PlayOJO’s money-back feature: a small amount of cash builds up as you play real-money games, and you move it into your main balance from the COLLECT tab. PlayOJO marks games with one to three OJO+ icons, with three indicating the highest return. It carries no wagering, but it is a reduction in the cost of play rather than a profit, because the game’s house edge still applies. Our page on cashback casino bonuses and the guide to RTP explain how the numbers fit together.
What are PlayOJO Kickers?
Kickers are PlayOJO’s personalised daily promotions, shown in the Kickers section of your account, with new ones added every day. They can include free spins, deposit bonuses, prizes and other perks, each with its own terms. Read the deposit amount, spin value, games, expiry and any wagering before claiming. PlayOJO’s help pages say its free spins have no wagering and expire after 24 hours. If a Kicker code fails, PlayOJO suggests using the offer link or contacting support. For how these offers usually work elsewhere, see free spins for existing customers.
Do PlayOJO free spins for existing customers have wagering?
The help pages state that PlayOJO free spins have no wagering requirements, so winnings from them are paid as cash. They also say free spins expire after 24 hours, so use them promptly or they lapse. Deposit bonuses offered as Kickers can work differently, so always read the individual terms. Under UK rules in force since 19 January 2026, any wagering attached to a bonus can’t exceed 10 times the bonus amount. Our PlayOJO free spins guide and the no wagering free spins page cover the details.
How do Reel Spinoffs work at PlayOJO?
Reel Spinoffs are slot tournaments. Freeroll versions cost nothing to enter but, according to PlayOJO’s help page, require a deposit within the last three days. Others have a buy-in paid from your balance or by deposit. During a Spinoff your results are converted into leaderboard points rather than cash, and only the top finishers receive prizes, so most entrants win nothing from the tournament itself. Treat buy-ins as part of your gambling budget. Our guide to casino tournaments explains common prize structures and what to check.
How do I join Club OJO?
Club OJO, PlayOJO’s A-list VIP scheme, is invitation only, so you can’t apply. PlayOJO’s help page says members receive an A-list manager, tailored offers and birthday gifts. UK rules in force since 31 October 2020 require operators to check that a customer’s spending is affordable and sustainable, and to look for signs of harm, before offering VIP status. If you are invited and don’t want the extra attention, you can decline or ask to leave. Our pages on VIP scheme rules and casino VIP schemes explain more.
Does the Hot or Cold feature help me pick winning games?
No. PlayOJO’s Hot or Cold feature shows which games have paid out most and least recently, refreshed every five minutes, and PlayOJO’s own page states that it does not affect future results. Every spin on a licensed slot is independent and random, so a game that has been ‘cold’ isn’t due to pay, and a ‘hot’ one isn’t more likely to continue. The return to player figure is the long-term average and doesn’t shift with recent results. Our guides to the gambler’s fallacy and gambling myths explain why.
Can PlayOJO offer me casino rewards for betting on sport?
No. Since 19 January 2026, UK rules ban promotions that mix gambling products, so a single offer can’t require you to place a sports bet or play bingo to unlock casino rewards, or the reverse. PlayOJO is a casino-only brand, but the rule applies to every UK-licensed operator. Each promotion must also keep any wagering at or below 10 times the bonus. Our page on the mixed-product promotions ban explains the rule, and cross-selling rules cover related restrictions on how gambling products are marketed together.
How do I stop PlayOJO promotional emails and texts?
Change your marketing preferences in your PlayOJO account. Since 1 May 2025, UK casinos must let you opt in separately by product and by channel, with opt-out as the default, so you can turn off emails, texts or calls individually. A cooling-off freeze or self-exclusion also stops marketing, and PlayOJO says removal can take up to 24 hours. If messages continue after you’ve opted out, contact support and keep a record. Our guides on opting out of casino marketing and marketing consent rules cover the steps and your rights.
Gambling can be addictive. Free, confidential help is available 24 hours a day from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. Get free support from GamCare or NHS gambling support, or block yourself from all UK-licensed gambling sites with GAMSTOP.
