Fun Casino is an online casino operated for UK players by L & L Europe Limited, a Malta-based company holding Gambling Commission account 38758. The operator runs several themed brands on that single licence. This profile covers who is behind Fun Casino, what the register showed on 20 October 2026, which rules shape the games you see and how to check it.
Fun Casino’s licence holder is L & L Europe Limited, UKGC account 38758, based in Mosta, Malta.
The remote casino licence has been active since 1 November 2014 and a betting licence since 3 October 2018; no regulatory actions were listed on 20 October 2026.
All British Casino, Pub Casino, Casino Casino, Hyper Casino, Yeti Casino and Quickbet share the licence.
Trade press in October 2017 reported that L & L Europe was about to launch Fun Casino.
We haven’t verified a parent group above L & L Europe, so we don’t name one. For a UK player, the licensee is the party that matters: it sets the terms, holds your balance and answers your complaints. Our glossary explains the difference between an operator and the brands it trades as.
When Fun Casino launched
An industry news report from 20 October 2017 said L & L Europe planned to launch Fun Casino ‘very soon’ and described it as a sister to Casino Casino and other brands the company ran at the time. We haven’t found an exact launch date, so treat late 2017 as approximate. The register’s licence date of 1 November 2014 is older than the brand because it belongs to the company, not to Fun Casino.
Brand line-ups change. Some names mentioned in that 2017 report aren’t on the UK register today, while newer ones such as All British Casino and Hyper Casino are. The current domain list is the only reliable guide to which brands are live under the licence.
Fun Casino sister brands on licence 38758
Brands sharing L & L Europe’s UK licence (register checked 20 October 2026)
Running many themed brands from one licence is common in UK online gambling. The themes and promotions differ, but the account rules, verification and complaints process usually come from the same team. Our guide to casino sister sites explains what that means for bonuses and self-exclusion.
Fun Casino is based in Malta: does that matter?
Not for your protections. UK law doesn’t require a gambling company to be incorporated in Britain; it requires a Gambling Commission licence for anyone serving British customers, plus a UK address for service. Once licensed, a Malta-based company follows exactly the same licence conditions and codes of practice as one based in Leeds.

Why Fun Casino’s operator also holds a betting licence
The register shows a remote betting licence active since 3 October 2018, which fits with Quickbet, the group’s betting brand. For Fun Casino players the main effect is on promotions. Since 19 January 2026, the ban on mixed-product promotions stops any offer from combining sports betting with casino games. A casino bonus at Fun Casino has to be earned and used on casino products.
Marketing consent is split the same way. Since 1 May 2025 you choose separately whether to receive casino or betting marketing, and by which channel, and the default is no. You can change this at any time in your account settings.
‘Fun’ casino: what the games really cost
The brand name is a reminder of how gambling should be treated: as paid entertainment. Every casino game is built so that, over many plays, the casino keeps a share of the money staked. A slot’s RTP tells you the long-run average returned to players.
A worked example: on a slot with a 96% RTP, £200 of total spins would, on average, return £192, so the expected cost is £8. Individual sessions vary hugely, which is exactly why a budget matters; short-term wins don’t change the long-run maths. The house edge explained guide covers table games in the same way.
Game rules you’ll notice at Fun Casino
Fun Casino’s slots and table games are supplied for the British market, so they follow UK design rules:
No autoplay on slots, and at least 2.5 seconds between spins (since 31 October 2021). See the autoplay ban.
No turbo or slam-stop features, and no celebration of a win that’s equal to or smaller than your stake.
Your balance and net position on screen throughout a session.
From 17 January 2025, similar rules for other online casino games, with at least 5 seconds per game cycle on non-slot games.
No bonus-buy feature on slots, because games aren’t supplied to Great Britain with it. Our bonus buy page explains the background.

Frequently asked questions
Who owns Fun Casino?
Fun Casino is run by L & L Europe Limited, which holds Gambling Commission account 38758 and gives Mosta, Malta, as its head office. The same company operates Hyper Casino, All British Casino, Casino Casino, Pub Casino, Yeti Casino and the betting brand Quickbet. We haven’t verified any parent group. To confirm the details yourself, follow our guide on how to check a casino licence using the account number.
Is Fun Casino licensed in the UK?
Yes. On 20 October 2026 the register showed L & L Europe Limited with an active remote casino licence dating from 1 November 2014, and funcasino.com as an active domain. The actions tab was empty on that day. A UK licence brings rules on verification, fair games and safer gambling tools. Our answer on whether online casinos are safe in the UK covers what else to check.
When did Fun Casino launch?
We couldn’t verify an exact launch date. An industry news report dated 20 October 2017 said L & L Europe was about to launch Fun Casino, so it most likely went live in late 2017. The licence on the register dates from 1 November 2014, but that belongs to the company rather than the brand. Our guide on how casinos get a UK licence explains how brands are added to an existing licence.
What are Fun Casino’s sister sites?
Fun Casino shares L & L Europe’s licence with Hyper Casino, All British Casino, Casino Casino, Pub Casino, Yeti Casino and Quickbet, according to the register checked on 20 October 2026. These brands typically share account rules, verification and complaints handling. That can affect whether you count as a new customer at a sister site. Our explainer on having more than one casino account covers the limits.
Does a Malta-based casino follow UK rules?
Yes, if it holds a Gambling Commission licence and serves players in Great Britain. Fun Casino’s operator is based in Malta but is licensed in Britain, so the 10x wagering cap, the slot stake limits, the credit card ban and GAMSTOP all apply. The company’s location doesn’t weaken your rights. Our page on offshore casinos explains how unlicensed overseas sites differ.
Can I buy a bonus feature on slots at Fun Casino?
No. Slots at UK-licensed casinos, including Fun Casino, aren’t offered with a bonus-buy option, because games are supplied to the British market without it. You trigger features through normal play. Other UK design rules also apply: no autoplay, no turbo spins and at least 2.5 seconds between spins. Our guide to how slot bonus rounds work explains feature triggers and what they’re worth.
How much does it cost to play at Fun Casino?
Casino games are designed to return less than is staked over time, so playing has a cost, just like any paid entertainment. On a slot with a 96% RTP, £200 of spins would return £192 on average, an expected cost of £8, though any single session can land well above or below that. Setting a deposit limit keeps spending planned. Our guide to setting a gambling budget shows how.
Are Fun Casino winnings taxed?
No. Players in the UK don’t pay tax on gambling winnings, whether they come from Fun Casino or any other licensed site. The operator pays remote gaming duty on its profits, which rose from 21% to 40% on 1 April 2026, but that is a cost to the business, not to you. Our page on tax on gambling winnings explains the position and any exceptions.
How do I self-exclude from Fun Casino and its sister brands?
Use the self-exclusion option in your account or ask customer support, and confirm whether it covers every brand on L & L Europe’s licence. GAMSTOP blocks all UK-licensed online gambling in one step, for six months up to five years, and can’t be ended early. Help is available any time on 0808 8020 133. Our walkthrough of how to self-exclude compares operator and national schemes.
Gambling can be addictive. Free, confidential help is available 24 hours a day from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. Get free support from GamCare or NHS gambling support, or block yourself from all UK-licensed gambling sites with GAMSTOP.
