How many casino accounts can I have? There is no UK law limiting how many different licensed casinos you join, but each casino normally allows one account per person, and brands run by the same company may treat you as one customer, especially for welcome offers. Each extra account also means another set of limits, checks and balances to keep track of.
No UK rule caps how many different licensed casinos you can join.
Almost every casino allows only one account per person; a second one is usually closed and bonus winnings can be voided.
Sister brands share an operator: Coral and Ladbrokes both sit under LC International Limited (UKGC account 54743).
Deposit limits are set per account, but GAMSTOP blocks every GB-licensed site at once.
Welcome offers are for new customers only, and each has its own 18+ terms.

How many casino accounts can I have in the UK?
As many different casinos as you like, as far as the law goes. Neither the Gambling Act 2005 nor the Gambling Commission’s licence conditions put a cap on how many licensed operators one adult can hold accounts with. The limits come from elsewhere: each casino’s terms, the way brands are grouped under one operator, and how much money and attention you can realistically keep track of.

Why each casino allows only one account per person
Casino terms almost always say one account per person, and there are sound reasons behind it. A single account lets the operator apply your deposit limits, reality checks and harm monitoring to all your play there. It keeps anti-money laundering records in one place, and it stops new-customer offers being claimed twice. A second account at the same site is usually treated as a duplicate and closed, and any bonus winnings linked to it may be voided under the terms.
Because Coral and Ladbrokes share an operator, one person may not be able to hold new-customer accounts at both or claim both welcome offers; read each offer’s terms before signing up. Our guide to casino sister sites explains how groups work, and what a white-label casino is covers brands that run on another company’s licence.
Welcome offers across several casino accounts
Welcome offers are for new customers, normally one per person, and sometimes one per household, device or payment method. Joining several unrelated casinos to claim several offers is allowed, but each comes with its own terms, expiry and payment exclusions. Since 19 January 2026, bonus wagering can be no more than 10 times the bonus, and an offer can’t mix gambling products, so a casino offer can’t require a sports bet.
Take two real offers as an example. Coral’s needs a £10 slots bet and gives 100 spins at 10p, which is £10 of spins. PlayOJO’s needs a £10 first deposit and gives 80 spins at 10p, which is £8 of spins. Joining both means £20 committed for £18 of spins at face value, with any spin winnings paid without wagering. The expected return of the spins is lower than their face value because of the house edge. Our welcome offer checklist covers what to compare.
Keeping track of money across several accounts
The practical problem with many accounts is visibility. Each casino shows your net position for its own games, but nothing adds them together for you. The example below shows how quickly separate small numbers hide a bigger one.
Example: one month across three casino accounts

Viewed separately, none of these accounts looks large. Together they make a monthly loss of £145, which would be £1,740 across a year at the same rate. A simple monthly total, or a single budget set before you play, keeps the overall picture honest. Our guide to setting a gambling budget shows one way to do it.
Deposit limits apply to each account, not to you
Since 31 October 2025, casinos must prompt you to set a financial limit before your first deposit, with setting one as the default and decreases taking effect immediately. Each operator must also offer gross deposit limits, with the deadline extended to 30 September 2026. The catch is that every limit lives inside one account. A £100 monthly limit at three casinos is effectively £300.
Each operator runs its own identity checks, so every new account means sharing your name, address and date of birth again and possibly uploading documents. Electronic checks often finish in seconds, but our answer on why casinos ask for proof of address explains why some ask for more. Fewer accounts mean fewer copies of your personal data held by different firms.
How to manage several casino accounts safely
Check each casino’s licence on the Gambling Commission register before joining.
Set one overall monthly budget, then split it into deposit limits at each casino.
Use one payment method in your own name so all deposits show up in one bank statement.
Record deposits and withdrawals for every account in one place each month.
Use a unique password for each account and turn on any extra login security.
Close accounts you no longer use and withdraw any remaining balance first.
Closing casino accounts you no longer use
Old accounts carry small risks: forgotten balances, marketing messages if you opted in, and saved payment details. Withdraw any balance first, then ask the casino to close the account. If you want a longer break, use the operator’s self-exclusion or GAMSTOP rather than a simple closure. Our guide on how to close a casino account explains the difference, and account security covers protecting the accounts you keep.
How many casino accounts can I have with Coral and PlayOJO?
One at each. Coral (LC International Limited, account 54743) and PlayOJO (Skill On Net Limited, account 39326) are run by different licence holders, so they are separate customer relationships. If you also hold or plan a Ladbrokes account, check Coral’s terms first, because the two brands share an operator. Our side-by-side Coral vs PlayOJO comparison covers payments and tools.
Coral’s current offer (18+, new players, 1 October 2026 to 1 February 2027): deposit and bet £10 or more on slots to get 100 free spins on selected games at 10p each, accepted within 48 hours and used within 7 days, with no wagering on free spin winnings; Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards don’t qualify. PlayOJO (18+, new UK customers excluding Northern Ireland): first deposit of at least £10 for 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p each, no wagering, winnings paid in cash, through the designated offer link only and not combinable with other offers. Terms apply; checked 5 October 2026.
Coral and PlayOJO are run by different licence holders, so joining one doesn’t affect eligibility at the other. 18+, terms apply; offers checked 5 October 2026.

Frequently asked questions
Is it legal to have accounts at several online casinos?
Yes. No UK law limits how many different licensed casinos an adult can join, and holding several accounts is common. What matters is that each casino is licensed by the Gambling Commission and that you open only one account per casino, using your own details. Each operator will verify you separately before you deposit. If you are unsure about a site, check the Commission’s public register first. Our guide on how to check a casino licence shows how in two minutes.
Can I have two accounts at the same casino?
No. Almost every casino’s terms allow one account per person. If a second account is opened, intentionally or by mistake, the casino will usually close the duplicate, and bonus winnings linked to it may be voided under the terms. One account means your limits, verification and history sit in one place, which protects you as well as the operator. If you have forgotten your login, use the reset option rather than registering again. Our answer on two accounts at the same casino explains more.
Can I have a Coral and a Ladbrokes account?
Possibly, but check the terms first. Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited, UKGC account 54743, part of Entain, so the operator may treat you as one customer across its brands, particularly for welcome offers aimed at new customers. That could mean you can’t claim both welcome offers, or can’t open a new-customer account at one if you hold the other. Read each offer’s terms or ask support before signing up. Our Coral vs Ladbrokes comparison sets out how the two differ.
Can I claim a welcome bonus at every casino I join?
You can claim one at each separately run casino where you are genuinely a new customer, subject to its terms. Offers are usually limited to one per person, and sometimes one per household, device or payment method. Sister brands may count as one company. Each offer has its own deposit, expiry and payment exclusions, and since 19 January 2026 wagering can be no more than 10 times the bonus. Always remember that bonuses don’t change the house edge. Our welcome offer checklist covers what to check.
Does GAMSTOP cover all my casino accounts?
Yes, if they are with GB-licensed operators. A single GAMSTOP registration blocks you from every gambling website and app licensed in Great Britain, so you don’t need to self-exclude at each casino separately. Operators must close your accounts, return balances and remove you from marketing. GAMSTOP doesn’t reach unlicensed sites, so a bank block or blocking software adds extra cover. Our page on how long GAMSTOP lasts explains the periods you can choose.
Do deposit limits apply across all my casino accounts?
No. A deposit limit is set within one account at one operator, so limits at three casinos add up rather than overlap. Since 31 October 2025, each casino must prompt you to set a limit before your first deposit, and decreases take effect immediately. To control total spending, set one overall budget and divide it between accounts, or use a bank gambling block if you want a hard stop. Our guide on how to set deposit limits shows where to find the settings.
Will having many casino accounts affect my credit score?
A casino identity check isn’t a credit application, although casinos do use credit reference agency data to confirm who you are; if you want to know how a check was recorded, look at your own credit file. Operators also run public-record checks once net deposits with them pass £150 in a rolling 30 days. What lenders may notice is frequent gambling transactions on bank statements you share during an application. Our page on affordability checks explains which checks are actually live.
Can I share a casino account with my partner?
No. Each casino account must belong to one verified person using their own payment methods. Sharing logins or letting someone else play on your account breaches the terms and undermines age, identity and self-exclusion checks, and the account may be closed with winnings withheld. If you both want to play, each of you needs your own account. Couples at the same address should check whether an offer is limited to one per household. The answer on using someone else’s card at a casino covers the payment rules.
What happens to my money if I close one of several accounts?
Withdraw your balance before closing, and the casino should pay it to your registered method. If you self-exclude rather than simply close, the operator must close the account and return any money in it. If a casino later goes out of business, how your balance is treated depends on its fund protection level, which it must state in its terms. Our answer on what happens to my balance if a casino closes explains each protection level.
Is it a warning sign to have lots of casino accounts?
It can be. Opening new accounts to find fresh offers, to get round a limit you set elsewhere, or because you have lost track of spending are all patterns worth taking seriously. Several accounts also make it easier to deposit more than you meant to, because no single account shows the total. If that sounds familiar, consider closing accounts, adding a bank block or registering with GAMSTOP. Our guide to the signs of problem gambling lists other warning signs and free support.
