Coral vs Casumo

Coral vs Casumo comes down to the type of welcome deal you prefer: Coral gives 100 spins at 10p with no wagering on winnings once you bet £10 on slots, while Casumo adds 50% to a first deposit of £20 or more, up to £100, with 10x wagering. Both hold UK Gambling Commission licences. Below, every difference is dated and sourced.

Coral vs Casumo: the short answer

If you want to know exactly what you will receive before you start, Coral is the simpler welcome. You deposit, stake £10 on slots and get 100 spins at 10p each. Whatever those spins return is yours with no playthrough. Casumo works the other way round: the size of the bonus depends on your first deposit, and you have to wager it ten times before it becomes withdrawable cash.

Away from the offers, the gap between the two is mainly about payments and contact. Casumo publishes a withdrawal table method by method and lists e-wallets such as Skrill. Coral publishes fast card payouts through Visa Fast Funds, charges no withdrawal fees and is part of the Entain group, which also runs Ladbrokes. Neither is a better casino in the abstract; they suit different habits, which the rest of this page sets out.

Everything here comes from each operator’s published terms and help pages, the Gambling Commission’s public register and app store listings, checked between 5 and 20 October 2026. We do not test casinos, so no figure below is a personal timing.

Welcome offers compared: Coral spins vs Casumo match bonus

Coral’s current deal runs from 1 October 2026 to 1 February 2027. New players aged 18 or over deposit (certain payment types excluded), bet £10 or more on slots and receive 100 spins on selected games. Each spin is worth 10p, you have 48 hours to accept them and seven days to use them, and there is no wagering on spin winnings. The full breakdown sits on our latest Coral offer page.

Casumo’s welcome is a 50% casino bonus on the first deposit, capped at £100, with a £20 minimum deposit. You must opt in, wager the bonus 10 times within seven days and keep each bet at £5 or less while the bonus is active. Game, play and payment restrictions apply, so read the terms before depositing. Our Casumo offer summary tracks any change.

What each offer is worth in pounds

Worked values for each welcome offer
You depositCoral receivesCasumo receivesCasumo wagering needed
£10100 spins = £10 of spins (after a £10 slots bet)Not eligible (minimum £20)–
£20100 spins = £10 of spins£10 bonus£100
£50100 spins = £10 of spins£25 bonus£250
£200 or more100 spins = £10 of spins£100 bonus (cap)£1,000

The face values hide a difference in effort. Coral’s £10 of spins has no playthrough, so the expected return is roughly the slot’s RTP applied to £10: on a game paying 96%, about £9.60 on average, though any single batch can return nothing or far more. Casumo’s £25 bonus on a £50 deposit needs £250 of bets; at a 4% house edge the average cost of that play is about £10, leaving an expected £15. Variance is large either way, and losses are more likely than not over time. Try your own numbers in the wagering calculator.

How the 10x cap and 2026 bonus rules affect both casinos

Since 19 January 2026, the 10x wagering cap stops any UK casino requiring more than ten playthroughs of bonus funds. Casumo’s 10x sits exactly at that ceiling. Coral sidesteps the issue because its spins carry no wagering at all. The same date brought the ban on mixed-product promotions, so neither brand can ask you to bet on sport to unlock casino rewards, even though both run sportsbooks.

Stake limits also shape how you use each deal. Online slots are capped at £5 per spin for players aged 25 and over and £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds, under the £5 slot stake limit. Casumo’s own £5 maximum bet with an active bonus therefore matters most on table games, where the statutory slot cap does not apply. For under-25s the £2 slot limit is the tighter rule.

Payment methods at Coral and Casumo

Coral’s help centre lists Visa, Mastercard and Maestro debit cards, PayPal, Pay by Bank, Apple Pay, Google Pay and paysafecard (through an account, not vouchers). Fast Bank Transfer is for withdrawals only. Coral also limits UK customers to three active payment methods in a rolling 30 days, and its deposit methods page (opens in a new tab) caps a single deposit at £2,000. See our Coral payment methods guide for each one.

Casumo’s UK site says you can deposit with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, PayPal, Trustly, Paysafecard, Skrill and Instant Banking, and that the minimum is £10 for every method. Credit cards are banned for gambling at both sites under the credit card ban in force since 14 April 2020.

Which deposits qualify for the welcome offer

This is where the two diverge sharply. Coral’s terms exclude Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards from its spins offer; our Coral bonus payment exclusions page explains why. Casumo states only that payment restrictions apply, so check the bonus terms against your chosen method before depositing rather than assuming an e-wallet counts.

FeesNone£3 below £10, none at £10 or more

Coral’s Visa Fast Funds help page (opens in a new tab) describes approval that typically takes a couple of hours, then up to four hours to reach an eligible Visa debit card. Casumo’s withdrawal policy (opens in a new tab) promises a decision within three days and charges £3 on any withdrawal below £10, so cashing out £8 would leave you £5. Both operate closed-loop payments, meaning money usually returns to the method you deposited with. More detail: Coral withdrawal time and Casumo withdrawal time.

UK rules apply equally to both. Since 31 October 2021 neither may let you reverse a withdrawal to keep playing, and neither can hold back money because you did not verify within a deadline. Our guide to pending withdrawals covers what to do if a payout stalls.

Coral app vs Casumo app

Coral runs a dedicated casino app, separate from its sportsbook, titled Coral Casino: Slots & Games on the App Store. It needs iOS 18 or later. Casumo’s iOS app combines casino and sports betting and needs iOS 15 or later, which matters if you use an older iPhone. The Casumo listing mentions Face ID and Touch ID login, quick launch of the last four slots played and Reel Races; Coral’s mentions free-to-play games with prizes and its Smart Rewards and Coral Coins promotions.

Both apps carry an 18+ age rating and PEGI 18 on Google Play. Compare features on our Coral app page and Casumo app page.

Customer support: which is easier to reach?

Casumo publishes UK support hours of 7:00 to 23:00 and an email address, hey@casumo.com. Coral’s email is help@coral.co.uk; third-party reviews describe its live chat as 24/7, but the Coral help pages we read did not state hours, so treat that as unconfirmed. If late-night help matters to you, open each site’s contact page before you register. Our [Casumo customer service page lists the routes in one place.

Safer gambling tools at both sites

Both casinos follow the same Commission rules. Since 31 October 2025, each must prompt you to set a financial limit before your first deposit, and lowering a limit takes effect immediately; see our deposit limit rules page. Both also take part in GAMSTOP, the national self-exclusion scheme, and must let you self-exclude from the brand itself.

  1. Set a deposit limit when the sign-up prompt appears, even if it is generous.
  2. Turn on reality checks so a reminder shows how long you have played.
  3. Use a time-out if you want a short break from one site.
  4. Register with GAMSTOP if you want to block every UK-licensed site at once.

If gambling stops being fun, the National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133, run by GamCare (opens in a new tab), 24 hours a day.

Which is best: Coral or Casumo for your style of play?

Advantages

  • Coral: fixed, easy-to-value spins bundle with no wagering
  • Coral: no withdrawal fees and fast card payouts via Visa Fast Funds
  • Casumo: bigger potential bonus for larger first deposits
  • Casumo: published payout times for every listed method, including e-wallets

Drawbacks

  • Coral: e-wallet and PayPal deposits don’t qualify for the spins
  • Coral: one account across Coral and Ladbrokes may not both qualify as new
  • Casumo: 10x wagering inside 7 days with a £5 bet limit
  • Casumo: £3 fee on withdrawals under £10

Low-stakes slot players who deposit by debit card will usually find Coral’s spins easier to judge. Players who plan a larger first deposit, want extra balance for longer sessions or prefer e-wallets for withdrawals may lean towards Casumo. If you hold a Ladbrokes account, read Coral’s terms first: both brands sit with the same licence holder, which our Coral vs Ladbrokes comparison explains.

How to choose between Coral and Casumo

  1. Decide your first deposit. Under £20 rules out Casumo’s bonus; Coral needs only a £10 slots bet.
  2. Pick your payment method and check it against each offer’s exclusions.
  3. Work out the wagering: Casumo bonus × 10 = the amount you must bet within 7 days.
  4. Check payout routes and fees you would use to withdraw.
  5. Confirm the licence on the register and read the full terms, 18+ only.

Frequently asked questions

Is Coral or Casumo better for new players?

Neither is better for everyone; it depends on how much you plan to deposit. Coral gives 100 spins at 10p after a £10 slots bet, with no wagering on winnings, which is easy to value. Casumo adds 50% to a first deposit of £20 or more, up to £100, but you must wager that bonus 10 times within seven days. Small-deposit slot players usually find Coral simpler, while larger depositors get a bigger balance at Casumo. Compare both in detail on our latest welcome offers page. 18+, terms apply.

Are Coral and Casumo licensed in the UK?

Yes, both hold remote casino licences from the UK Gambling Commission. Coral is run by LC International Limited under account 54743, active for remote casino since 1 July 2019. Casumo is run by Recro Limited under account 61549, active since 21 December 2023. You can search either account number on the Commission’s public register to see licence status, trading names and any regulatory action. Our guide on what UKGC licensed means explains what that protection covers in practice.

How long do Coral and Casumo withdrawals take?

Coral’s fastest published route is Visa Fast Funds, typically up to four hours after an approval that usually takes a couple of hours. Fast Bank Transfer takes two to four business days. Casumo says withdrawals are reviewed within hours, with a policy limit of three days for a decision; after approval, PayPal, Apple Pay and e-wallets are instant, cards take up to two days and bank transfers up to five. Times are operator estimates, not promises. Our guide to how long casino withdrawals take explains the stages.

Does Casumo charge withdrawal fees?

Only on small withdrawals: Casumo’s withdrawal policy sets a £3 fee on any cash-out below £10, with nothing charged at £10 or more. So if you withdraw £9, you receive £6, while a £10 withdrawal arrives in full. Coral states that it does not charge withdrawal fees at all. If your balance is just under £10, it may be worth waiting rather than paying the fee. Read more in our guide to casino payment fees and on Casumo withdrawal time.

Can I use PayPal to claim the Coral or Casumo offer?

Not at Coral, where PayPal deposits are excluded from the 100 spins, along with Neteller, Skrill, Paysafe, prepaid cards and certain debit cards. Casumo lists PayPal as a deposit method and says payment restrictions apply to its bonus without naming them in the summary terms, so check the full terms before choosing PayPal. If you want the welcome offer, a standard debit card is the safest choice at both. Our page on why PayPal often doesn’t qualify explains the reasons operators give.

What is the wagering on Casumo’s welcome bonus?

Casumo’s bonus must be wagered 10 times within seven days, the maximum the UK has allowed since 19 January 2026. A £20 deposit brings a £10 bonus and £100 of wagering; a £200 deposit brings the full £100 bonus and £1,000 of wagering. While the bonus is active, each bet is capped at £5. If the bonus isn’t wagered in time, it and any linked winnings are usually removed. Our explainer on how wagering requirements work shows the calculation step by step.

Do Coral’s free spins have wagering?

No, Coral’s 100 spins have no wagering on their winnings, so what they return is paid as withdrawable money. The spins themselves are not free of conditions: you must deposit, bet at least £10 on slots, accept the spins within 48 hours and use them within seven days on selected games. Each spin is worth 10p, making the bundle worth £10 in stakes. Our page on no-wagering spins defines the term, and Coral free spins covers the details. 18+, terms apply.

Can I have accounts at both Coral and Casumo?

Yes, you can hold accounts at both because they are run by different licence holders: LC International Limited for Coral and Recro Limited for Casumo. Each welcome offer is for new customers of that brand. The catch applies to Coral and Ladbrokes, which share a licence holder, so a Ladbrokes customer should check whether Coral treats them as new. Keep track of your spending across every account you hold. Our guide to multiple casino accounts covers the rules and the safer-gambling side.

Which has the better app, Coral or Casumo?

It depends on your phone and what you want from the app. Coral’s is casino-only and needs iOS 18 or later. Casumo’s iOS app combines casino and sport, runs on iOS 15 or later and its listing mentions Face ID login, a home screen widget and Reel Races. Both are rated 18+ and available on Google Play in the UK. If your iPhone can’t update to iOS 18, Casumo’s app is the one that will install. See casino apps vs mobile sites for the browser alternative.

Is it safe to play at Coral and Casumo?

Both are licensed by the Gambling Commission, so they must verify your age before you play, prompt you to set a deposit limit and take part in GAMSTOP. A licence does not protect your money from losses: the house edge means most players lose over time, so treat any deposit as the cost of entertainment. Check the register entry yourself, set a limit at sign-up and keep the National Gambling Helpline number, 0808 8020 133, to hand. Our guide on whether online casinos are safe in the UK goes further.
