Who owns and runs Simba Games
Simba Games is operated in Britain by Skill On Net Limited, often written as SkillOnNet. The Gambling Commission’s register lists the company under account 39326 with a head office in Limassol, Cyprus, and shows the domain simbagames.co.uk as Active on that account when we checked on 20 October 2026.
Skill On Net is both a brand operator and a technology platform. It runs consumer casinos under its own licence, including PlayOJO, and it also supplies the platform for other brands. So when you play at Simba Games, the account system, cashier, verification checks and safer gambling tools come from the same company that powers a long list of other sites.
We have no partnership with Simba Games, so this profile won’t describe its welcome offer or link to it. One point of transparency: PlayOJO, which we do partner with, is run by the same licence holder. We have kept this page to register facts and published records so the comparison stays fair. Other neutral profiles live in our casino brands directory.

The regulatory actions tab showing nothing doesn’t mean there has never been any action. The Commission announced a settlement with Skill On Net in May 2023 (covered below), and our research notes show that register counts don’t always include every historical settlement. That is why we check the Commission’s news and enforcement action (opens in a new tab) pages as well as the register.
How the SkillOnNet platform behind Simba Games works
A platform operator builds the software that runs a casino: player accounts, the cashier, game integration, bonus engine, and the tools for verification and safer gambling. Skill On Net uses that platform for brands it operates directly and, according to the register, for at least one white-label site where another brand owner’s casino runs on Skill On Net’s licence. The register’s domain list for account 39326 marks gentingcasino.com as a white-label domain, for example; see our Genting Casino profile.
For a player, the practical effect is consistency. Brands on the same platform tend to share the same verification document list, the same withdrawal workflow and the same limit-setting screens, even if they look completely different. Our explainer on white-label casinos sets out how responsibility is split when a platform company holds the licence for someone else’s brand.
The Commission says businesses supply their own trading names and domains for the register, so treat the domain list as a strong pointer rather than a complete catalogue.
Simba Games and PlayOJO: what sharing a licence means
Because Simba Games and PlayOJO are both on account 39326, they share a legal operator. Our facts file lists these brands on the same licence: PlayOJO, Spin Genie, Slots Magic, Mega Casino, EU Casino, Queen Vegas, Megaways Casino, Lucky Vegas and Red Kings, alongside Simba Games itself.

If you already have a PlayOJO account and then join Simba Games, or the other way round, read the bonus terms carefully: group operators frequently define a new customer as someone without an account at any of their brands. Simba Games operator’s regulatory record
On 23 May 2023, the Gambling Commission announced that Skill On Net Limited would pay £305,150 as part of a regulatory settlement after an investigation found social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures. The Commission said the money would go to socially responsible causes and noted that the company ran 50 websites at the time. The announcement didn’t single out any individual brand.
Settlements like this are common across the UK online sector and usually lead to changes in the operator’s processes, which then apply to every brand on the licence. You can read how the Commission’s sanctions work, and see larger cases involving other operators, in our guide to Gambling Commission fines.
Recent changes affecting Simba Games players
The newest item on Skill On Net’s register entry is a virtual-event betting licence listed from 1 October 2026. Virtual events are computer-generated races and matches; the register entry doesn’t tell us whether, or on which brands, the company plans to offer them, so we don’t speculate.
The bigger changes come from UK-wide rules that apply to Simba Games like every other licensed casino:
Slot stakes are capped at £5 per spin for players aged 25 and over (since 9 April 2025) and £2 for those aged 18–24 (since 21 May 2025); see the £5 slot stake limit.
A financial limit prompt has appeared before the first deposit since 31 October 2025, with limits set by default.
Bonus wagering has been capped at 10x since 19 January 2026, so a £30 bonus needs at most £300 of bets; see the 10x wagering cap.
Since 17 January 2025, non-slot casino games must take at least 5 seconds per game cycle and can’t use autoplay; see the table game speed rules.
Safer gambling tools at Simba Games
Every Commission licensee must offer deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion, and must take part in GAMSTOP (opens in a new tab). One GAMSTOP registration blocks Simba Games, PlayOJO and every other site on account 39326, as well as all other GB-licensed operators, for the period you choose.
Lowering a deposit limit takes effect immediately, while raising one comes with a waiting period, so the tool protects you on the days you most need it. Our guide on how to set deposit limits explains the options. For free, confidential support, call the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, run by GamCare, at any time.
How to check the Simba Games licence step by step
Open the Simba Games terms and conditions or footer and note the licensee name and account number.
Search the Gambling Commission’s register of businesses for 39326.
Confirm Skill On Net Limited is shown with remote casino listed as Active.
Open the domain names list and look for the exact address you are using, such as simbagames.co.uk.
Read the regulatory actions tab, then search the Commission’s news pages for the company name for older announcements.
Only deposit once the footer, domain and register all match.
Raise any complaint with Simba Games first. Licensed operators must publish a complaints procedure and have eight weeks to resolve a complaint before you can take it to the free alternative dispute resolution provider named in their terms. Keep a record of dates, amounts and chat transcripts.
The Commission doesn’t decide individual disputes, but its consumer pages explain your rights, and our guide on what to do if a casino won’t pay sets out the order of steps for payment disputes specifically.
How Simba Games compares as a type of casino
Simba Games is a platform-operator brand: a casino run directly by the company that also builds the software. That differs from a white-label site, where the brand owner relies on someone else’s licence, and from a single-brand casino that licenses third-party software.
Advantages
Licensed operator with UK casino licensing since 1 November 2014
Shares tools and processes with a large group of established brands
Licence and domain are easy to confirm on the register
Drawbacks
Operator-level restrictions can follow you across sister brands
Bonus eligibility may exclude existing customers of PlayOJO and other sisters
Regulatory actions tab doesn’t show the 2023 settlement, so you need to check Commission news too
Casino games are designed so the operator keeps a margin over time; our guide to RTP shows how to read the figures each game publishes.

Frequently asked questions
Who owns Simba Games?
Simba Games is owned and operated by Skill On Net Limited, which holds Gambling Commission account 39326 and lists its head office in Limassol, Cyprus. The same company runs PlayOJO, Spin Genie, Slots Magic and several other brands on that licence, and supplies its platform to at least one white-label site. When you sign up, your contract is with Skill On Net Limited. Our Spin Genie profile covers another brand from the same operator.
Is Simba Games licensed in the UK?
Yes, Simba Games is covered by Skill On Net Limited’s Gambling Commission licence, account 39326. When we checked on 20 October 2026, the register showed remote casino active since 1 November 2014 and remote bingo since 14 February 2020, with simbagames.co.uk listed as an Active domain. Always confirm the live record before depositing, because licences can change. Our guide on how to check a casino licence shows how.
Is Simba Games the same company as PlayOJO?
Yes, Simba Games and PlayOJO are run by the same licence holder, Skill On Net Limited, on Gambling Commission account 39326. They are separate brands with their own websites, games lobbies and promotions, but the legal operator, regulatory record and much of the back-office platform are shared. That can affect bonus eligibility and self-exclusion with the operator. Our PlayOJO review sets out the PlayOJO side, and we have noted the shared ownership on this page for transparency.
Has Simba Games’ operator faced regulatory action?
Yes, Skill On Net Limited agreed to pay £305,150 in a regulatory settlement announced by the Gambling Commission on 23 May 2023, after an investigation found social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures. The Commission didn’t name individual brands, and said the company ran 50 websites at the time. The register’s regulatory actions tab didn’t list the case when we checked. Our page on Gambling Commission fines explains how settlements work.
Is Simba Games safe to play at?
Simba Games holds a Gambling Commission licence through its operator, so it must follow UK rules on fair games, verification, complaints and safer gambling. That is the key safety marker for any gambling site, though it doesn’t change the house edge, so losses over time are the likely outcome. Set a deposit limit when prompted and use reality checks. Our guide are online casinos safe in the UK covers what the licence protects.
What are the Simba Games sister sites?
Simba Games’ sister sites are the brands on Skill On Net’s licence, account 39326: PlayOJO, Spin Genie, Slots Magic, Mega Casino, EU Casino, Queen Vegas, Megaways Casino, Lucky Vegas and Red Kings, according to our facts file built from the register. The domain list also marks gentingcasino.com as a white-label site on the same licence. Our profiles of Queen Vegas and Mega Casino cover two of them.
Can I claim a welcome offer at Simba Games if I play at PlayOJO?
You may not be able to, because group operators often treat anyone with an account at one of their brands as an existing customer of all of them. The answer is in the new-customer clause of the bonus terms on the site you plan to join, so check it before depositing. Any UK bonus wagering is capped at 10x since 19 January 2026. Our guide to multiple casino accounts explains the common restrictions.
Does GAMSTOP block Simba Games?
Yes, GAMSTOP blocks Simba Games along with every other online gambling site licensed in Britain, because participation has been compulsory since 31 March 2020. Registration is free, you choose an exclusion from six months to five years, and it can’t be lifted early. It covers PlayOJO and the other Skill On Net brands too. Our page on GAMSTOP rules explains what operators must do once you register.
Why is Simba Games run from Cyprus?
Skill On Net Limited lists its head office in Limassol, Cyprus, but that doesn’t change the rules for British players. Any company offering gambling to people in Britain needs a Gambling Commission licence and must meet its conditions on fairness, verification, advertising and safer gambling, wherever it is based. Your complaint and ADR rights are the same too. Our explainer on the remote casino licence sets out what a licensee must do.
What is the virtual-event betting licence on Simba Games’ operator?
It is a Gambling Commission licence activity covering bets on computer-generated events, such as simulated horse races, and the register lists it for Skill On Net Limited from 1 October 2026. The entry doesn’t say which brands, if any, will offer virtual betting, so we don’t assume Simba Games will. Note that a single promotion can’t mix betting with casino play since 19 January 2026. Our mixed-product promotions ban page explains why.
