A £3 deposit casino would let you start playing with three pounds, but none of the five UKGC-licensed casinos we track publishes a minimum that low. The real issue with tiny balances is often getting money back out, so this guide covers withdrawal minimums and fees, the maths of £3, and the nearest licensed offers (checked 5 October 2026).
No partner we track publishes a £3 minimum; the lowest published deposit is £5 for Google Pay and Pay by Bank at Coral and Ladbrokes.
Small balances can be hard to cash out: Coral and Ladbrokes publish £5 withdrawal minimums for some methods, and Casumo charges £3 below £10.
Since 31 October 2025 you can type your own deposit limit, so a £3-a-week cap is possible at any licensed site.
A single £3 slot spin is above the £2 cap for players aged 18 to 24.

£3 deposit casino options for UK players
Searching for a £3 deposit casino usually means you want to try a site while keeping the outlay smaller than a takeaway coffee. Among the five licensed brands whose terms we follow, nobody publishes a £3 minimum. The nearest published figure is £5, which applies to Google Pay and Pay by Bank at Coral and Ladbrokes. Casumo sets £10 for every method, while PlayOJO and 10bet display their minimums in the cashier rather than in public help pages.
So the useful question shifts from where to deposit £3 to how to keep your spending at that level somewhere properly licensed. The answer is a mix of deposit limits, low stakes and knowing the withdrawal rules before you begin. If you want the even smaller end of the market, our £1 deposit casino page covers it, and every current deal sits on the casino offers hub.
Why minimum deposits cluster at £5, £10 and £20
Cashier screens tend to show preset buttons such as £10, £20 and £50, and the minimums behind them follow the same round pattern. Odd amounts like £3 don't fit the way most operators price payments. Each transaction carries processing costs, and each balance has to be big enough to withdraw by the methods the casino offers. A £3 deposit would sit below the published £5 withdrawal minimum at Coral and Ladbrokes from day one.
Welcome offers push the entry point higher still. Our partners' offers start at a £10 deposit or a £10 stake on slots, and Casumo's match needs £20. That's why the £10 deposit offers category is far larger than anything below it. The general question is covered in our explainer on UK casino minimum deposits.
The small-balance cash-out problem
Few low-deposit pages mention it, but the withdrawal end of a tiny balance can cost you more than the deposit end. Here is what each partner publishes about small withdrawals.

A worked example shows why this matters. Suppose your Casumo balance stands at £8 and you ask to withdraw it. The £3 fee applies because the amount is under £10, so £5 reaches you. Keeping the £8 in the account and playing on to reach £10 means staking more, with the house edge working against you on every round, so that isn't a reliable fix either. The cleaner approach is to know the threshold before you deposit. Casumo's withdrawal policy (opens in a new tab) states the fee, and Coral's withdrawal fee page (opens in a new tab) confirms it charges none.
A licensed casino can't let you cancel a withdrawal request to carry on playing. That ban on reverse withdrawals has applied since 31 October 2021.
What a £3 deposit covers in spins and hands
Three pounds goes further than it sounds at low stakes. The average cost depends only on the total staked and the game's RTP, but the number of rounds affects how long the money lasts and how much results vary.

The two right-hand columns show why RTP matters more than stake size for the long-run cost. Across thousands of spins, a 94% game costs half as much again as a 96% game. Over 30 spins, though, luck dominates: you could finish with nothing or with several times your stake. Our volatility guide explains why some slots swing harder than others.
A note for players aged 18 to 24
Since 21 May 2025, online slot stakes for adults under 25 have been capped at £2 per spin, so a single £3 spin isn't possible for that age group. Players aged 25 and over have a £5 cap, in force since 9 April 2025. Our pages on the £2 slot stake limit and the £5 limit explain how casinos apply each.
Would a £3 deposit casino bonus be worth having?
Bonus wagering has been capped at 10x since 19 January 2026 under the Commission's social responsibility code (opens in a new tab). That makes small match offers easy to price. A hypothetical 100% match on £3 adds a £3 bonus that needs £30 of eligible play before bonus winnings can be withdrawn. At 96% RTP, £30 of play costs about £1.20 on average, so the expected value left from the £3 bonus is roughly £1.80, before any maximum bet or expiry rules.
Compare that with the no-wagering spin offers on our list. Coral's offer gives 100 spins at 10p, so £10 of spins in face value after you deposit and bet £10 on slots; winnings from the spins carry no wagering. The entry cost is higher than £3, but nothing stands between spin winnings and your cash balance. Our wagering requirements guide and the 10x cap rule page go deeper.

If the idea is to try a site for the price of a few pounds, £5 is the realistic floor at the brands we track. In short, a true £3 deposit casino isn't on our list. Our £5 deposit casino bonus page explains what that level can and can't get you.
How to keep spending to £3 at a licensed casino
Since 31 October 2025, licensed casinos have to prompt you to set a financial limit before your first deposit, and the amount is free text, not a list of suggested figures. That means you can set exactly £3 a day, or £3 a week, even where the minimum deposit is higher. A limit set this way won't let you deposit £5, of course, so a £3 cap works best as a daily figure on top of a weekly one, or as a guide you track yourself.
Decide your weekly gambling budget before you register anywhere, using money you can afford to lose.
Check the casino on the Gambling Commission public register and confirm its account number.
Register and complete the age and ID check.
When prompted, set a weekly deposit limit equal to your budget; you can lower it later and the change applies immediately.
Turn on reality checks so the site tells you how long you have been playing.
Pick low-stake games and stop when the budget for the session has gone, without topping up.
The method you pick can make a small deposit cheaper to manage. Pay by Bank and Google Pay carry the lowest published minimum at Coral and Ladbrokes. Debit cards work everywhere we track. Be aware that Coral and Ladbrokes exclude PayPal, Neteller, Skrill, Paysafe and prepaid cards from their welcome offers, and Coral also excludes certain debit cards, so a deposit through one of those methods won't unlock the spins.
Coral and Ladbrokes also note a limit of three active payment methods per rolling 30 days in the UK, so switching between several wallets to make small top-ups isn't a workable plan. Credit cards have been banned for gambling since 14 April 2020; our credit card ban page covers it.
Small-deposit myths, checked
Myth: small deposits get better luck. Game outcomes come from a random number generator that doesn't know your balance. See how RNGs work.
Myth: new accounts are on a hot streak. No licensed game adjusts its odds for new customers; RTP is fixed by the game design.
Myth: a £3 deposit can't do any harm. Repeated small deposits add up. A limit protects you better than a small minimum does.
Myth: a tiny deposit means no ID checks. Every licensed casino must verify age and identity before you play.
With no £3 offer available, these are the lowest-entry licensed welcome offers we list. All are for new customers aged 18+ and terms apply.
Coral Casino: deposit (certain methods excluded) and bet £10 or more on slots to receive 100 free spins at 10p each on selected games. You have 48 hours to accept them and 7 days to use them, with no wagering on winnings. The offer runs from 1 October 2026 to 1 February 2027.
Ladbrokes Casino: deposit and spend £10 on slots for 50 free spins a day over your first 10 days, a maximum of 500, each worth 10p. Claim each day's batch before 23:59; each lasts 7 days and winnings have no wagering. PayPal, prepaid cards, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers deposits are excluded. Because one company runs both Coral and Ladbrokes, read the terms before joining both.
PlayOJO: a first deposit of £10 or more brings 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p each, paid without wagering, for new UK customers outside Northern Ireland. Read our PlayOJO offer page for the detail.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a £3 deposit casino in the UK?
We don't know of a £3 minimum at any of the five licensed casinos we track. Coral and Ladbrokes publish £5 for Google Pay and Pay by Bank, Casumo states £10 for all methods, and PlayOJO and 10bet show minimums in the cashier. Other licensed sites may differ, so always check the cashier before depositing and confirm the licence on the Gambling Commission register. If the aim of a £3 deposit casino is to keep spending to £3, a deposit limit at a licensed site does that more reliably. Our low deposit casinos guide compares common entry points.
Can I withdraw £3 from an online casino?
Sometimes, but it depends on the casino's minimum withdrawal and fees. Where a figure is published, at Coral and Ladbrokes, the minimum is £5 for Fast Bank Transfer and Google Pay withdrawals, so £3 would fall short by those methods. Casumo hasn't published a minimum but charges £3 on withdrawals below £10, which would wipe out a £3 withdrawal entirely. 10bet and PlayOJO don't publish figures, so check the cashier. Knowing these rules before you deposit avoids being stuck with a small balance. Read casino withdrawal limits for more.
Does Casumo charge a fee on small withdrawals?
Yes, Casumo's withdrawal policy sets a £3 fee on withdrawals below £10, and no fee at £10 or more. In practice, a withdrawal of £9 would pay out £6, while a withdrawal of £10 would pay out the full £10. Casumo's policy also says withdrawals are approved or denied within 3 days, with e-wallets paid instantly after approval and cards taking up to 2 days. Factor the fee into your plans before depositing small amounts. Our Casumo withdrawal time page gives the full timings.
How many spins does £3 buy?
At 10p per spin, £3 covers 30 spins; at 20p it covers 15, and at £1 it covers three. The average cost at a 96% RTP is about 12p whichever stake you choose, because RTP applies to the total amount staked. Over so few spins, though, actual results swing a long way from that average, and you could lose the full £3 quickly. Check each slot's minimum stake in its help screen, as some games start above 10p. Our guide to reading a slot paytable explains where to look.
Can I set a £3 deposit limit?
Yes, since 31 October 2025 licensed casinos must let you type your own limit amount rather than choosing from preset figures. You are prompted to set a financial limit before your first deposit, and opting out has to be confirmed. A £3 daily limit is possible, but it would block a deposit at any casino whose minimum is higher, so many people pair a small daily limit with a weekly one. Lowering a limit takes effect immediately. See our deposit limit rules page.
Can an 18-year-old place a £3 spin on a slot?
No, players aged 18 to 24 are limited to £2 per spin on online slots, a rule in force since 21 May 2025. A £3 balance would therefore cover at least two spins for a player in that age group, never one. Players aged 25 and over can stake up to £5 per spin, under the cap introduced on 9 April 2025. Casinos use your verified date of birth to apply the right limit automatically, and bonus terms follow the same caps. Our £2 slot stake limit page has the details.
Is a £3 deposit casino a scam?
Not necessarily, but the minimum alone tells you nothing about safety. What matters is a Gambling Commission licence, which you can check on the public register using the account number in the site footer. Be cautious about sites pairing a £3 deposit with large bonuses, wagering above 10x, credit card deposits or claims of being outside GAMSTOP, since those point to an unlicensed operator. Licensed sites must follow British rules on fair terms and complaints. Our guide to casino scams to avoid lists the common warning signs.
Can I use PayPal to deposit £3?
Not at our partners, since none publishes a £3 minimum and PayPal deposits are excluded from the Coral and Ladbrokes welcome offers anyway. Casumo accepts PayPal but sets £10 as its minimum for every method. PayPal can still be a convenient way to deposit and withdraw at sites that list it, as long as the account isn't funded by a credit card, which is banned for gambling. Check each casino's cashier for its PayPal minimum. Our PayPal casino payments page explains how it works.
What is the smallest deposit that gets a welcome offer?
Among our partners, the smallest qualifying amount is £10. The two Entain brands, Coral and Ladbrokes, need a deposit and £10 staked on slots, PlayOJO needs a first deposit of at least £10, and Casumo's 50% match needs £20. 10bet's 100% match up to £25 shows its qualifying amount in the offer terms. All offers are for new customers aged 18 and over, and terms apply, including excluded payment methods at Coral and Ladbrokes. Our latest welcome offers page compares them side by side.
Are small deposits a good way to stay in control?
They can help, but a deposit limit is the stronger tool because it caps the total, not just each top-up. Several small deposits in an evening can add up to more than one planned larger deposit. Licensed casinos also offer time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion through GAMSTOP.
