250 free spins in the UK

250 free spins is the halfway point of Ladbrokes’ welcome offer: spend £10 on slots and you can claim 50 spins at 10p on each of your first ten days, so five daily claims bring 250 spins, worth £25 in stake, with no wagering. No partner offers 250 in one batch (checked 5 October 2026). We also explain tiered ‘up to 250’ deals. 18+, terms apply.

Key takeaways

  • No partner gives 250 spins at once; Ladbrokes reaches 250 after five daily claims of 50 spins at 10p, no wagering. 18+, terms apply.
  • Each Ladbrokes batch is valid for 7 days, so by day five you could be holding up to five unplayed batches at once.
  • Offers worded ‘up to 250 free spins’ often pay the top tier only for a larger deposit; work out the spins per pound at each tier.
  • 250 spins at 10p are £25 of stake, averaging about £24 back at a 96% RTP, with wide variation in any single run.

250 free spins: where the number comes from

Among the UK-licensed casinos we work with, 250 free spins only arises one way: as five days of Ladbrokes’ welcome offer. New Ladbrokes customers aged 18 or over who deposit and spend £10 or more on slots can claim 50 spins a day for their first ten days, up to 500 in total. Each batch must be claimed before 23:59 and used within 7 days, every spin is worth 10p and winnings carry no wagering.

None of our partners has a single 250-spin offer, and we would rather say that clearly than pass off another deal as one. Coral’s 100 spins and PlayOJO’s 80 are the single-batch alternatives. The full range is on our offers hub, and the current Ladbrokes wording is on our latest Ladbrokes offer page.

How 250 free spins build up: overlapping batches

Because every batch has a 7-day life, nothing expires during the first five days. That means you could claim on each of days one to five and have all 250 spins available at the same time. The table shows the position at the end of each day for someone who claims daily but hasn’t yet played any spins.

22100100Around day 8
33150150Around day 8

Holding spins this way gives you flexibility, but it also means more spins to track. The terms decide exactly when each 7-day period starts, so check them in the promotions area. If you prefer not to juggle batches, play each on the day you claim it. Our guide to bonus expiry covers how casinos count validity periods.

How to claim 250 free spins over five days at Ladbrokes

  1. Create a new Ladbrokes account; you must be 18 or over and pass identity checks.
  2. Choose a deposit limit when prompted before your first deposit; since 31 October 2025 the casino must ask, and you can lower it at any time.
  3. Deposit with a method that qualifies. Prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers are excluded.
  4. Spend at least £10 on slots to unlock the daily spins.
  5. Claim 50 spins before 23:59 on each of days one to five.
  6. Play each batch on the selected games before its 7 days run out.
  7. Winnings are withdrawable straight away, as there is no wagering.

Our Ladbrokes free spins page goes through each screen, and Ladbrokes customer service explains how to get help if a batch doesn’t appear.

What 250 free spins are worth: £25 of stake

At 10p a spin, 250 spins are £25 of play. Multiplying by a 96% return to player gives a long-run average of £24, before you take off the average cost of the £10 qualifying slots spend, around 40p at the same RTP. These are averages across huge numbers of spins and players; your own result from five batches of 50 can be anywhere from a few pounds to much more.

One choice affects what you keep: whether you withdraw spin winnings or play them back. Winnings returned to slots face the house edge again. If day one’s batch returns £6 and you stake that £6 on a 96% slot, you can expect to lose about 24p on average, and you could lose all of it. Because there is no wagering, nothing in the terms requires you to replay winnings. Our guide on how to withdraw casino winnings explains the process.

‘Up to 250 free spins’: how tiered offers work

Elsewhere you may see offers worded as ‘up to 250 free spins’. The words ‘up to’ usually mean the full number depends on something, often the size of your deposit. The example below is hypothetical, to show how to assess any tiered offer.

Hypothetical tiered offer: spins per pound at each deposit level (10p spins)
DepositSpinsSpin stakeSpin stake per £1 deposited
£1050£550p
£25100£1040p
£50250£2550p

In this example, depositing £50 instead of £10 doesn’t improve the rate at all; it simply puts £40 more of your money into the account. If you wouldn’t have deposited £50 anyway, the top tier isn’t good value for you. The CAP Code’s gambling rules (opens in a new tab) and the Commission’s requirement that incentive terms be clear and fair both mean the tiers should be set out where you can see them before you deposit. Our welcome offer checklist includes questions for tiered offers.

How long 250 free spins take, and planning your sessions

Since 31 October 2021, every slot spin at a UK-licensed casino must take at least 2.5 seconds, and autoplay is banned, so each spin is started by you. 250 spins therefore need at least 10 minutes 25 seconds of spinning, and in practice longer once bonus rounds and pauses are counted. Splitting them into five sessions of 50 means about two minutes each at minimum.

  • Decide before each session that you will stop when that day’s spins are used.
  • Use reality checks so the casino reminds you how long you have been playing.
  • Don’t treat a quiet batch as a sign the next one is due to pay; every spin is independent. See are online casinos rigged for how results are generated.

UK rules that apply to 250 free spins offers

Rewards and bonuses are governed by the Commission’s social responsibility code 5.1.1 (opens in a new tab), revised from 19 January 2026. These are the points most relevant to a large spin offer.

  • Wagering on any bonus, including spin winnings paid as bonus funds, can’t exceed 10 times; see the 10x wagering cap.
  • Offers can’t mix casino with betting or bingo, so 250 spins can’t be released by a sports bet.
  • Slot stakes are capped at £5 a spin for over-25s (since 9 April 2025) and £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds (since 21 May 2025); see the £5 slot stake limit.
  • Since 31 October 2025 you must be prompted to set a financial limit before your first deposit, as the Commission’s note on new deposit limit rules (opens in a new tab) explains.
  • Since 1 May 2025 marketing needs your opt-in by product and channel, so you can refuse offer emails entirely; see opting out of casino marketing.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a 250 free spins offer in the UK?

Not as a single offer at any of our five partners, based on our check on 5 October 2026. Ladbrokes’ welcome deal gets you to 250 over five days: after you deposit and spend £10 on slots, you can claim 50 spins a day for ten days, each batch claimed before 23:59, valid 7 days and free of wagering. Other sites may advertise ‘up to 250’ spins, so check the conditions. Our latest free spins offers page compares current deals.

How much are 250 free spins worth?

At 10p a spin, 250 free spins are worth £25 of stake. At a 96% RTP the long-run average return is £24, but a single run of 250 spins can return a small fraction of that or a good deal more. If the spins were 5p each, the stake value would be £12.50. Spin value, wagering and any cap on winnings all change the real worth of an offer. Our bonus value guide shows how to put a figure on any deal.

What does ‘up to 250 free spins’ mean?

It means 250 is the maximum, and you may receive fewer depending on the conditions. Often the full number needs a larger deposit, or arrives in batches over several days or deposits. Work out the spin stake you receive per pound deposited at each tier; in many tiered offers the rate doesn’t improve at the top level, it just takes more of your money. Ladbrokes’ ‘up to 500’ depends on daily claims instead. Our guide on how to read bonus terms explains the wording.

Can I hold all 250 Ladbrokes spins at the same time?

Yes, if you claim a batch on each of the first five days and haven’t played them, because each batch is valid for 7 days and none expires before day five ends. The earliest batch would then run out around day eight, depending on how the terms count the period. Some people prefer to play each batch on its day to avoid tracking several deadlines. Check the Ladbrokes bonus terms page for the precise wording on validity.

Do I have to claim all ten days of Ladbrokes spins?

No. The offer allows up to 50 spins a day for the first ten days, to a maximum of 500, but you can stop whenever you like. Many people decide in advance how many days they will claim, for example five days for 250 spins, to avoid building a daily log-in habit. A day you don’t claim before 23:59 is likely to be lost, so check the full terms. Read about daily free spins for how this type of offer works.

Is there wagering on 250 free spins?

Not on Ladbrokes’ spins, whose winnings go straight to your withdrawable balance. Other casinos may pay spin winnings as bonus funds with wagering, which since 19 January 2026 can’t exceed 10 times. On £24 of bonus winnings, 10x means £240 of play first, costing about £9.60 on average at a 96% RTP. That is why no-wagering spins are usually worth more. Compare current deals on our no wagering free spins page.

Which payment methods qualify for Ladbrokes’ 250 spins?

Ladbrokes excludes prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers from its welcome offer. Its help centre lists debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Pay by Bank among the deposit methods, and those aren’t named in the exclusions. Credit cards can’t be used for gambling in Great Britain at all, a rule in force since 14 April 2020. See our Ladbrokes payment methods page for limits and withdrawal options.

Should I play my spin winnings or withdraw them?

That is your choice, but replaying winnings exposes them to the house edge again. If a batch of 50 spins returns £6 and you stake that £6 on a slot with a 96% RTP, you can expect to lose about 24p on average and could lose it all. With no wagering on Ladbrokes’ spins, nothing obliges you to keep playing. Set a plan before you start and stick to it. Our guide to casino bankroll basics explains how to budget.

How long does it take to play 250 free spins?

At least 10 minutes and 25 seconds, because each slot spin at a UK-licensed casino must take a minimum of 2.5 seconds. Autoplay isn’t allowed, so you start each spin yourself, and bonus features add extra time. At Ladbrokes the spins come in five daily batches of 50, so each session is around two minutes of spinning at minimum. Both rules have applied since 31 October 2021. Read the 2.5 second spin rule page for why.

Can I get 250 free spins without depositing?

Not from our partners, and large no-deposit spin offers are uncommon at UK-licensed casinos. Operators must verify your age and identity before you can use any bonus, which has applied since May 2019, so instant no-deposit offers have become rare. If a site offers 250 spins for nothing, check its licence on the Gambling Commission register before sharing any details. Our page on the latest no deposit offers explains the current picture.
